Food is delicious, a lot of choice, pizza is really recommended, and their salted egg pasta too. satisfying and service was good also. But suggested for people to come early because limited parking space. Thankfully there is security that works on helping people to get to their parking, even though you have to double park, just put your number on the front window, people will call you to move your car and you can get their parking spot. Be understanding, i encounter one angry customer on the parking area, it is because of she comes without queue and suddenly take my parking spot when i move my car that i double park (it is a one way parking lane) so i have to exit to go back in, take less than a minute, when i came back there she is take the empty park spot while others car still waiting for other empty space or they just double park. The security came and ask me why i didn't park my car in the parking space, i said when i came back she already parked in my spot. i don't want to further make drama, i just double park my car again in front of the woman car. But the security confront the woman asking for her to move her car and give the spot to me. But no she didn't want and said i actually didn't said anything to her. How would i do that, when in fact she already parked there. Haha. Then while waiting for everything to calm again when the woman went into the restaurant with her family, a kind hearted myvi car behind me gave her parking space to me when the car she double park to is going out when the not so chaos drama happen. Just when i was able to parked in the new parking space, the woman came out of the restaurant to the parking area with all her family members, sounds angry and shouting to the security. "tak hadap lah makan sini" and saying the security is stupid. I was shocked and some of the customer who is in the parking area also heard the shouting. Eventually she cancelled her plan to eat here while maki hamun security tu. Amat memalukan ya, sebab kita sama2 melayu. And awak datang tempat baru yg awak tak tahu arrangement tempat tu macam mana. Security pon tegur dengan baik. Tak ada marah2. Ramai orang tengah tunggu turn untuk parking kat tepi pulak tu. Saya pon double park jugak.

Food wise ( i eat pastry), i still believe its mediocre.. food hype..
startSt outs a small bakery-cum-cafe operating in a tiny half-lot within Taman Tunku, with the sole purpose of serving great coffee, amazing pastries, cakes, and organic breads to our local community. From day 1, our philosophy has always been to source the best ingredients, craft everything fresh by hand, and to pour our soul into everything we do. The combination of all these beliefs, artisanal skill, and working very early mornings to late nights has helped us make what Kenny Hills Bakers is today. A big shout out to all our regulars and first customers in Bukit Tunku, you've really been an important part of this journey for us.
From our very first pain au chocolat and flat white served in the November of 2014, we have evolved, and so has our menu. We now serve not only fresh bakes, but also offer gourmet sandwiches, salads, wood-fired sourdough pizzas, and local favourites such as the nasi lemak. We believe we have something for everyone. In July 2017, we opened the doors to our second site in Desa ParkCity, home to an extremely bustling and active community. Fitness fanatics, weekend warriors, and wholesome families are part of this tight-knitted community and our store has become a popular ground for them to come together to meet and get their favourite eats.
In August 2019, we also opened up a behind the legendary Hock Choon supermarket off Jalan Ampang. A huge industrial space where we house our central baking and product development stations for all our wonderful creations. Formerly a bungalow, this massive space is our largest outlet with two distinct sections (bakery and dine-in) and has become yet again a popular spot for Ampang locals to come and have some good food with their friends and family. While we grow in size, we try to remain true to our philosophy of always using the best ingredients and treating them with love and passion, to create the great food that put us where we are today. To everyone who has visited our stores over the years and shared a part of their life with us, we thank you and hope to see you continue walking in through our doors so we can continue doing what we love to...
Read moreIt was supposed to be a night of celebration for me but I've had the worst experience ever with this kind of service standard! Parking area was dimly lit. Lucky thing was that's it's only a short walking distance to the eatery.
Right when we were just seated, we were shoved with the menu straight to our face and the waiter JXXX (go figure his name yourself) stood right there and then expecting us to order IMMEDIATELY. For God's sake, this is our virgin time here. Do you expect us to have the ability to predict your best selling food in your menu?
Ordered onde cake and strudel. Strudel were honestly very nice. Not so sweet, with the right amount of crispness and freshness. Onde cake, though nice but not so impressive as I've tasted even better before. Overall, both still nice. However, JXXX will ask us to go figure their dessert ourselves as his job was to take order on food only. BUT, both the desserts were put into a BIG DINNER PLATE!!!!!!! Do you expect us to eat like eating rice????? Only upon request, we were given small dessert plate. Where's the basic serving etiquette?
We order lamb shepherd pie which again, truly hot, fresh, nicely out from oven. Though took long time, but worth the wait. Right amount of cheese and generous amount of lamb. Love it to the bits. BUT AGAIN, here comes the drama. JXXX wanted to clear our halfway used dessert plate, and for the sake of environment, we said we'll continue using that plate for our pie since we're sharing anyway. He ROLLED HIS EYES!!!!!!!!!! WHAT ON EARTH THAT WE HAD DONE WRONG TO DESERVE SUCH ROLLING????????
Anyway, to make a payment just to leave is another level of drama which I couldn't bother to talk about anymore. 1 question - why do you have to make our lives so miserable?
The ONE and ONLY person I feel worth mentioning is the guy who looked after the parking lot. He ushered us to our car without any expectation, made sure we got to our car before leaving to attend to another car. Because I finally feel like I'm being treated as a human, I gave him a generous amount of tips even though the parking space itself didn't require payment.
So here goes my celebratory night and I'm NEVER EVER GOING AGAIN! THANKS...
