Seeing all the 5-star reviews, I was genuinely excited to order Madeleine for my colleague's wedding. My family had ordered from the shop before and had a great experience, so I didn’t expect any issues.

I placed an order for two Madeleines last night, intended for 22/8. I filled in the form, made payment, and waited for a confirmation email, which never came. I thought maybe it was just a delay, and since the wedding is on 23/8, I still had time to follow up.

Today, work got hectic and I forgot to call. Then suddenly, I received a WhatsApp message, your order is ready for pickup tomorrow. I was like WHAT?? wedding on 23/8? it definitely cannot be kept that long. I replied to the shop that I ordered it for 22/8. They then pulled up a receipt showing it’s 1/8. I was confused because I clearly remembered selecting 22/8.

I mentioned I didn’t get a confirmation email, and their response was, you didn’t fill in your email address. This was crazy as my details are usually auto-filled, so it’s hard to believe I missed it. Their reason for not contacting/sending confirmation thru phone? The phone number is only used for delivery or inquiries.

The blame is on me since the receipt showed order for 1/8 and I cannot prove anything that I ordered for 22/8. I was disappointed. Redha la benda nak jadi, but disappointed with the system, the reply and the service. And Customer reps have the audacity to say he/she understand my frustration. What do you mean you understand my frustration? It was 460 and I have to of course buy another for the wedding since there’s nothing the shop can do.

Anyways, to everyone who wanted to order, please make sure you put in everything and make a record.

Oozing sweetness.

Me and my partner have been craving and looking for the best moist cake in KL. After few Google searches we took our chances on this bakery shop, we gambled on this bakery. Lo and behold, we got our hard earned money's worth. We decided to indulge on Chocolate hazelnut loaf moist cake.

The cake?

Moist and soft, the cake itself lands on the tongue smoother than any high ranked pilot landing an airplane on an empty runway. The texture of the cake is has that bready, not too chewy feeling and each bite felt fulfilling. The chocolate moist on the middle layer of the cake makes a sure fire "repeat order" for me personally. The size itself 7 inches long and almost 3 inches tall. Rich, oozing and addicting chocolatey goodness. These are the descriptions that will make Willy Wonka himself proud.

The toppings?

These people are not scared to dabble it a little bit of extra when it comes to the topping. A chocolate lover, like me, loves the fact that this cake is drizzled and topped off with cocoa goodness.

The presentation?

To put it in a simple term, posh. Like . They surely know how to not just bake the cake, as well as packing it to customers. Fancy, just like the ones you can get in the bakeries in the streets of Soho, London.
