If you’re looking for a café that blends heritage vibes with a modern twist, KLCG Jalan Pasar is definitely worth the visit. Nestled in the heart of old Kuala Lumpur, this spot combines the charm of colonial architecture with an Insta-worthy interior and an impressive menu.
✨ Ambience The atmosphere is cozy yet classy. The vintage tiled floors, arched windows, and warm lighting make it feel like you’re stepping back in time – but with a touch of elegance. Perfect for catching up with friends or even getting some quiet work done (yes, they have plugs and WiFi).
☕ Drinks & Coffee Their signature lattes and cold brews don’t disappoint. If you’re into creative flavors, try their Gula Melaka Latte or Rose Latte – both are smooth and balanced.
🍽️ Food Surprisingly diverse menu! You’ll find both Western brunch items and local fusion dishes. The truffle scrambled eggs on sourdough was creamy and generous, and the Nasi Lemak with fried chicken had the perfect sambal kick. Portions are reasonable, and presentation is 10/10.
💸 Price Moderately priced – around RM18 to RM35 per dish. Drinks fall between RM10-RM18. Worth it for the quality, taste, and experience.
📸 Instagram Factor Major aesthetic points. From the building exterior to the food plating, everything is camera-friendly. Great lighting too!
⭐ Overall: KLCG Jalan Pasar is a gem for anyone who enjoys good food in a beautiful setting. It celebrates KL’s heritage without feeling outdated. Definitely a café I’d return to – whether for brunch or just a quiet coffee...
Read more✨ newly opened KLCG at Medan Pasar, KL (within walking distance from Central Market). Housed in a beautiful heritage building which is giving Parisian vibes. ✨ There’s both upstairs and downstairs seating. We arrived before 11.30am and got a table immediately but when we left around 12.30pm there was a long queue of over 30 ppl. ✨ choose your pastries from the display, make your payment. Hot food and drinks to be ordered via qr code at table. They have hot food like pizza, sandwiches, pasta. ✨ we chose the Matcha Mochi Royale (Rm14.90) since my daughter is a fan of all things matcha. Delicious flan with a chewy mochi centre. ✨ Roasted almond croissant (RM14.90) - we’re always excited to try almond croissants as it’s our fav 🥐 and the one here certainly did not disappoint. Flaky with an almond frangipane filling. ✨ Mochi fraisier (RM26.90) - daughter said this is a must-order. They didn’t have any on the display but thankfully we could still order it and they delivered it upstairs to us. No wonder this is so popular - a very good rendition of strawberry shortcake made even more delicious with the soft mochi skin enveloping it. Almost every table had this. 💯 recommended. ✨ we also got a free Polaroid pic during our visit.

Read moreWent on a weekday and the queue didn’t take long at all - we waited less than 30 minutes. You can scan the QR code for the menu while waiting, which makes it easy. I’d suggest ordering and paying for your pastries first at the counter before heading to your table - it saves time.
My sister and I found a pretty easy solution. We parked at an outdoor car park just opposite Menara CCB, which is about 350 metres from KLCG - only a 3-minute walk. Super convenient and way less stressful than trying to find a closer spot!
We are obsessed with their Fish & Chips! You can really taste how fresh and sweet the fish is - definitely not your average fish & chips. The portion is pretty big too, enough for two if you’re not huge eaters. Totally worth the price.
One thing I love about KLCG is how consistent they are. Their pastries and desserts are always on point - crispy, balanced in flavour, and super generous with the fillings. You can tell they really care about the quality.
The staff are also really friendly and efficient. There’s even someone dedicated to taking your photo, and you get a Polaroid with the KLCG logo to take home. Such a cute and thoughtful touch - it really...
