When for lunch with my friend, the waiter took order immediately since less people. Even, the waiter suggested on selecting the menu & waited patiently for us to choose the dish. In few minutes, the food arrived. Now, from first glance, all the dishes looks yummy cz of the color radiant. The really shock comes when started to eat. It could have been more tasteful if they are generous with their salt in food. All their foods are bland!! Their mutton curry & fish podimas was okay. I have eaten the same dish at other place which is more yummy. After eating their food, our fingers had burning feel maybe due to the chili and masala used. To my surprise my friend felt the same. It’s hot whether yet their drinks comes with less ice, we order ice drinks because we need the coldness. We informed the waiter the food had less salt & coldness. He asked us to add salt ourself since there’s salt & pepper available on table. We thought it was incense stick holder. For coldness, he gave beverages lesson for free, no ice added. Overall, for this scenario don’t judge the foods by its color! Improvement can be done with their taste.

I have been trying to find a good biriyani for long time in KL! This country has amazing Indian curries and sides, however the South Indian in me always missed a good biryani. Thanks to my husband we happened to visit Mollagaa . Some of the Chefs and the staff here are from South India, and that was the first thing that convinced me to dine here :) We ordered the mutton biryani and loved it. The mutton was tender and juicy, but the spices were a little overpowering (just a little that you wouldn’t notice it), but it was still good! (ALSO this came with an 🄚. Not sure what the logic is but few restaurants have an egg only with a chicken biriyani šŸ˜‚). The killer biriyani comes with a killer curry, which had the right amount of spice and had the flavour of the mutton. So we had to ask anna for a second serve šŸ˜†. Other items on the menu that you must try: 1. Mutton varuval 2. Vanjaram fry 3. Prawn masala 4. Kongu Pallipalayam chicken 5. Non-veg Meals (fish curry is to die for, I literally drank it and you get unlimited appalams) Been here twice already! Definitely going back again šŸ’ƒ

Caution: If you cannot handle chilli/spicy food, this place may not be suitable for you. However, my experience here was fabulous. As a South Asian, I'd been looking for places in Malaysia where I can find tasty spicy food and Mollagaa didn’t disappoint. I ordered a banana leaf meal(Thala Vazhai), Punjabi Fish Curry and Lime Mint Juice. All of them were delicious and fulfilling. I especially liked the fish curry. Found it quite spicy but it ate well with rice, papadom, the coconut gravy that came with my rice meal and the lime juice. My suggestion for future visitors here is to order something cold/sweet that you can eat with your spicy dishes. This will balance out everything and you will not end up dying ;) The place is expensive, but you can share meals if you come in groups. My rice meal had a big portion and could be easily shared between 2 people. They have veg and non-veg options. The environment is pretty chill with Tamil/South Indian music playing in the background. Would like to come here again with my friends.

A lot of surprise here. I dont know how to order since its a spread of food in the menu. So i decided to take plain banana leaf meal with added sides dishes including chicken, spinach sauce with cheese, curry mutton, fried veggies, pampadam and lastly i tried their Bru coffee. * you must tey their mutton curry, the meats are tender and not too hot *

Its very delicious, full of different type of Indian Spices, frangrance and its spark my taste buds. They added dal powder with geese. Initially look "fattening" but its tasty.

Beside a set of 9 different curry and condiments for myself. They added fish curry sauce, sweet acar, fried dried chilli so many different type and yey it tasted differently. Amazing.

And bru coffee and thick and smooth and not the cup size is just right after a full meal.

Next visit, i will try their thosai, roto prata and more. Thank you for the comfortable dining space that is not too noisy and i like thier dining table. Its big enough and spacious.

Thank you for your service. Eaten so much my bill come to be Rm30. Its a good place for friend gathering abt 7pax. So much food to...
