LOCO TTDI — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Situated right next to Brew House in TTDI. It has entrances from both the front and back so you can park on both sides. We had a burger, pasta, pizza, fried calamari and garlic bread with bacon and cheese, as well as a bunch of drinks. The food was pretty good but everything else was downhill.

I made a reservation via FB Messenger and even had the conversation history to prove it. But when I got there, nobody was aware of my reservation. We got a table anyway since the place wasn’t full, so I brushed it off.

We ordered a bunch of drinks and it took an hour for my friend’s drinks to arrive. They kept missing our drink orders throughout the night and my friend had to go to the bar a few times to get them to make our drinks on the spot.

There was a live band when we arrived and they were very VERY loud. We didn’t know there was going to be one, and thankfully they ended their last set around one hour after we arrived. If we were going there specifically to see a live band we wouldn’t have minded, but we wanted to catch up, so it wasn’t the best environment. Mediocre food, and hardly Mexican. Ambiance was ok, unless u r seated outside next to the drain. But the waiters are really quite bad, nothing against foreigners but the guys that served us could hardly speak English. Tried to order a jack Daniels & coke and the waiter had no idea what we wanted. Its not a complicated order. Also, there was a mix up with the order, due to this language barrier, and the waiter made it seem like it was our fault and made a fuss to change it. Also. It was a bit cold under the AC inside, so we asked to move outside, waiter seat's us at a table for 4 outside (there were many empty tables) and another foreign waiter comes and makes a fuss bcos there were only two of us sitting at a 4 person table. Staff are unbelievably friendly, warm and kind. If you are there alone they will be always drop by with a joke or quick convo. Food leaves nothing to be desired, as it is prepared fresh from the kitchen unlike most places nearby that precooks almost all of their meals and bring them from somewhere else. If you like Tiger beers, then this is the place to drink at as it is the only place on the street that serves Tigers. If you are looking for whiskey they have original Jameson's at a very decent price and they even have Jameson whiskey cocktails. They also have lucky draws for customers and they make it a real fun event out of it with prizes for every one.
