I went to Mad Hatter after my partner piqued my interest. We were there around 8:30PM, looking for a place for me to exploit my cheat day. We sat by the window, appreciating the ambiance of a quiet cafe and seeing whether we could recognise the song of each musical that was on the cafe's playlist.
The food was stellar. There's a lot of attention to detail that goes into the food. We had the Strawberry and Cheese, an interesting balance of refreshing fresh fruits to go with a cheesecake resting on chocolate crumble. It is a good date spot because the desserts that are on the menu are mainly portioned for two. It really does make you feel like you're ordering to share and I love that, it makes the menu affordable when you think about it in this mindset. The drinks, while not as complex as the food, is just as good to complement whatever you'll be eating there.
On average, you'll be spending about less than RM30 - RM50 for a dessert for two plus drinks.
What MadHatter Desserts deliver on is a quiet space for you to enjoy a tranquil retreat and a conversation where you're not yelling over each other or blocking out disruptive noises. The staff members are also friendly, chill, and they know their menu so if you feel lost on what you want to order then they can help you pinpoint what your taste buds are...

The young ones were ooh and aah upon setting their sights on the beautiful creations such as Chocolate Calamansi, Strawberry & Cheese, among others.. all neatly displayed in the glass cabinet display where one can point and choose.
But I just chose their decadent brownie served with a scoop of ice cream this time while sipping a glass of flat white. Not too sweet yet moist and delicious; and the sight of "love" (or heart) coffee art on the cup made the...
