Amigos Chinese and Western Cafe — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Knew this place through Facebook. This place was clean n tidy, brightly lit inside n outside at night. Quite attractive tables n chairs settings. The chairs are with broadbased legs strong enough to support a fat n heavy guy. The front entry door was wide open so ventilation could be better with air-conditioning that we can dine here with cool comfort n peace of mind, least susceptible to COVID-19 infection. We had a simple dinner, menu ,Jiang Nan Noodles that tasted better than its outlook, Chicken Bolognese Spaghetti that tasted just okay because I was actually eyeing for Chicken Chop with black pepper sauce. The hot coffee tasted better than expected The bill was only Rm 29.70 Very affordable for that environment. The kitchen was visible to customers. Toilets were clean , good looking, a rare sight nowadays. It's suprising why patronage was low given the fact that it's dinner time tonight. Perhaps l have not seen it's peak, or that regular customers were elsewhere given the fact that there are too many, as many almost a hundred places to rotate or choose about within one km radius, intensely competive. l will have to patronize several times with different dishes to get the answer. Anyway, happy dinning...

Similar to Meat One Cuisine, with a better cleanliness environment in overall. Price is reasonable.

They offered a variety of western-chinese foods from steak, spaghetti to fried rice. I have ordered their fish chips and grilled chicken, just acceptable and nothing exceed my expectation. I would recommend them to brings out more variety especially in steak as sauce is limited to few typical choices only ( Mogul, England (myonaise), salted egg, black pepper and mushroom).

Really hope they could revamp their menu and introduce more new food and beverage choices.

Fun fact, they provide VIP room with Karaoke services. Suitable for those who is coming for birthday celebration.

My wife and I both ordered the Hawaiian grilled pork chops but they served only 1 portion to us. My wife started eating first and I just thought they needed more time to prepare my portion although in hindsight as the place was not busy on a Monday night, I should have suspected they forgot my order. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I checked the printed order ticket and the order was only for 1 portion. Not our mistake but theirs but not a single word of sorry from the staff. If you are like me and don't enjoy surly and unfriendly attitude, stay away from this place. BTW, the food portion was quite big and the quality was reasonably good but the staff attitude and the noisiness of the karaoke puts me off from coming to this...
