First of all, this restaurant has a really good environment and settings. Like all the other reviews, I agree that during peak hour you'll need to wait a bit longer as they cater to high volume of customers like you can see in pictures below.
I went in today (sunday) for breakfast and it was a bit sad that I couldn't afford to wait 20 to 30mins for noodles selection - reason is there'stoo many orders for noodles so might take time. LUCKILY the staff informed me early before I lock my order if not I may have missed the opening to Fantastic Beast 3 movie. In the end, I decided to get buns and sandwiches for breakfast.
Taste wise all is superb but pineapple bun was so so.. I thought that was the bestselling bun but not for me. The custard bun on the other hand was so fluffy and delicious. Same goes to sweet potato bun - will definitely order these two again! SANDWICHES WAS TERRIFIC AND WORTH IT. The fries that came with it was so hot, crispy and sedap, I'd definitely buy again for breakfast or tea time. Coffeeeeee no comment - super good as usual.
Total spent was about RM44 for all items in below pictures.
Overall 4 stars, minus 1 star because I'm sad that I couldn't get the Tom Yum noodle. Will definitely visit again (not during peak...
Read moreOverall 1.5/5 👎🏻: mediocre food, bad ventilation and noisy environment. Wont come again. e-wallet payment only Touch N Go.
Food 2/5: We had their prawn wanton mee, the noodles was a pass, the wanton were average but the soup was sucks, totally spoiled the dish. One of the worse wanton noodles I've eaten. There's way better version of this dish in Mid Valley alone, for example i-Canton and Mak's Chee. The drinks (Iced NanYang Coffee & NanYang Milk Tea) were average too.
Value 2/5: Portion size was ok, though. 2 wanton noodles + 1 Iced NanYang Coffee + 1 NanYang Milk Tea = RM 51.75.
Service 2/5: The service was ok but time taken to serve the food was so long, eventhough the restaurant was half empty. Really not worth the wait.
The environment 1/5👎🏻: The air ventilation is bad, the restaurant has a strong smell, we felt uneasy the moment we walked in. By the end of our meal, our whole body stinks 😞. Aside from that, their music is too loud and too...
Read moreMy 87 year-old father had to wait more than 30min for a pork chop rice. When we asked, a female waitress (one of higher ranking waitresses as she had the mic and earphone thingy) communicated with the pork chop station - they said 7min. After 7 min when I asked her again, she repeated the same thing me with - no apology, no sense that all 13 of us had already been served and finished eating, and that my 87-year-old dad was still waiting. Lousy system because we saw the pork chop station cook dishing out maybe 10 pork chops from the fryer. He had obviously waited to “collect” the same orders to be cooked at once, without any thought up how long the very first orders needed to wait. By that time, it was already over 40 minutes.
The super thick bread with ice cream was overpriced and nothing to shout about. Just super thick tasteless bread with a scoop of ice cream at the top. Too pricey.
Overall, won’t come back for that type of service at that...
