If you're searching for an exceptional and affordable eat-all-you-can Halal BBQ & Shabu Shabu experience in Mid Valley, look no further than BBQ Town, my favorite halal restaurant in town.
The ingredients for Shabu Shabu, including an assortment of vegetables and noodles, are equally abundant.
One of the highlights of dining at BBQ Town is the interactive cooking experience. Each table is equipped with a 2-1 griller and hotpot for Shabu Shabu. You have the freedom to grill your meats to perfection and create your own personalized Shabu Shabu creations. The staff members are always available to assist you and ensure you have an enjoyable and safe cooking experience
To enhance the flavors of your BBQ and Shabu Shabu dishes, BBQ Town offers a delectable variety of sauces and condiments. From savory soy-based sauces to tangy and spicy options, you can customize your dips according to your preferences. These condiments add an extra dimension of taste to your already mouth watering creations. One of my favorites is Wafu sauce mixed with garlic, onion chives and chilis.
What impressed me the most about BBQ Town is its affordability without compromising on quality. With a reasonable eat-all-you-can pricing structure. The value for money offered at BBQ Town is truly commendable.

Read moreService has really dropped since renovation. I feel the need to leave this review in hopes that management will make improvements.
After queuing, we were led to a table by the waiter who even served us our meats. As we were just about to tuck in, some ladies approached our table and loudly accused of us stealing their table while they were getting food. We said no, the waiter brought us there and this was our table. Of course the waiter had made a mistake, and after much commotion, they told us to wait outside again. I understand that mistakes happen, but this was easily preventable with communication between waiters.
After our meal, I used the ice cream machine and watery cream splattered all over my dress and shoes. There was clearly something wrong with the machine and even the people behind me left the queue. There was nobody there to check and I had to find a waiter for help. The waiter then simply said, "Oh, saya lupa letak sign" ("Oh, I forgot to put the sign up) and then hung a "do not use" sign on the machine. He didn't offer me tissues to clean up, or any apology. My dress was literally covered in cream.
It's obvious that the waiters are busy as there is always a long queue. But customers are customers, and this is basic levels of service. I hope management can kindly re-train waiters as service was good...
Read moreI made a booking a week earlier FOR 4 PEOPLE and i reconfirmed my booking 1 hour before going. When i got there, they showed us to a table FOR 3 and when I thought that they would naturally get an extra set of bowl and chopsticks, they did not! I had to call the waiter to ask them for it!
Also, since they sat us at the very end of the restaurant, my friends and I had to raise our hands for who-knows-how-long, because the workers doesnt seem to pay attention to us and i am pretty sure they DELIBERATELY IGNORED us because I saw them saw us! Rude!
The soup was terrible! We first tried the chicken soup, there was no taste and so we asked for the 'spicy' one. Its not even the tiniest bit spicy and it was just like plain water with a sprinkle of chili skins!
The restaurant was so stuffy! They should be aware that they need to increase the aircond when more people are doing the bbq. But when i requested if they could increase it, they said its faulty so they couldn't. smh
The drinks were like diluted iced lemon teas which they added sugar.
Overall, not worth spending money here. Rm48.50 per person for this poor service and poor quality of food. Regretted having a friends' gathering...
