My experience at Palsaik Korean BBQ in Mid Valley Megamall was nothing short of a culinary adventure. The heart of the meal was the beautifully marinated pork, sizzling on the grill and releasing an irresistible aroma that instantly whetted the appetite. Each cut of meat was tender and infused with rich, smoky flavors, perfectly complemented by the array of fresh vegetables and classic Korean appetizers. The vibrant selection of greens, pickled radish, and kimchi provided refreshing contrast, cutting through the richness of the BBQ and adding balance to every bite.
To enhance the meal further, I indulged in the comforting warmth of the kimchi soup pork pot—a deep, flavorful broth packed with bold spice, tangy fermented kimchi, and succulent pork slices. The addition of Korean ramen took it to another level, as the chewy noodles soaked up the essence of the soup, making each spoonful a heartwarming delight. The satisfying heat from the broth, paired with the smoky BBQ flavors, created a perfect symphony of tastes.
Of course, no Korean feast would be complete without a refreshing drink to wash it all down. My choice? A unique blend of Korean beer and rice wine. The combination was smooth yet slightly sweet, with a crisp finish that paired beautifully with the rich flavors of the meal. It was a brilliant way to round off the experience, leaving me with a lasting impression of indulgence and satisfaction.
The atmosphere at Palsaik added to the enjoyment—warm, bustling, and filled with the cheerful sounds of sizzling grills and lively conversations. The attentive service ensured that everything was cooked to perfection, making the dining experience seamless and enjoyable. Whether you're a seasoned lover of Korean BBQ or trying it for the first time, this meal was a true celebration of taste, tradition, and togetherness.
A visit to Palsaik Korean BBQ is more than just a meal—it's a flavorful journey that delights the senses and leaves you craving more. From the expertly grilled meat to the comforting soup and unique drink pairing, every element came together to create an unforgettable dining experience. I can’t wait to go back for another round of...
Read moreMy experience was good with Palsaik. I went after 830pm since the crowd is high. Even on weekdays. Didn't want to rush with the dinner crowd so we have a late dinner instead.
We went in 5 pax. Ordered the 4-6 pax 8 taste pork belly approx 248Rm. Well nothing spectacular as you don't really feel any different in taste. Very mild flavor. I don't reall mind that as we like basic grilled belly usually. Not for fussy eaters ya. We also top with additional japchae and steamed eggs, which taste quite delicious. Total bill about 380Rm.
The one best recommended is the grilled squid. It's super flavourful and tender. That's the only dish I missed the most.
Portion was so so as I didn't feel full at all. The portion measurements are not compatible for big eaters. This Korean restaurant have no side dish which is quite surprising to me. Free refills for lettuces. Anyhow they might be understaffed sometimes, so be sure to check on your grilled Pork belly on your own. Don't be too dependent on the grilling services.
Will I come again? Yes. But preferably order the 4 to 6 pax set for 2 big...
Read moreI went there last night with my friends as recommended by online influencers on Instagram. The signature 8 colours BBQ pork basically tasted the same, nothing impressive, the kimchi soup didn't have kimchi taste at all but tasted rather like miso soup with lots of MSG. We ordered a 4 person set meal that costed RM138++, the portion was just enough for 4 pax (2 male 2 female) I would say it is definitely not enough for 4 grown up men. No table water is provided, a bottle of 500ml mineral water costed RM3++. The environment was hot and humid, i sweated my whole body, air conditioning needs to be improved, because it was really hot even for a local Malaysian guy like myself. DON'T DON'T DON'T ever order the kimchi fried rice with cheese, it is just a bowl of plain white rice dumped into your unfinished soup and fried with it, no meat, no extra kimchi, only a few pieces of seaweed and some cheese, and it costed RM20++, its a rip off!! I will not trust those online influencers' recommendation anymore, after all they are paid to promote the restaurant and I will not return to...
