Dear Kyochon 1991 Store Management,
I am writing to provide detailed feedback on a recent dining experience at your establishment.
My girlfriend and I visited your store in The Gardens Mall on Saturday, April 14th, around 12:45 PM, and ordered the tteokbokki full set. While we have always appreciated the quality of food and service provided by Kyochon 1991 Store, our recent experience left much to be desired.
Firstly, during our meal, my girlfriend discovered a small fish bone inside one of the fish cakes that accompanied the tteokbokki. This unexpected finding made it difficult for her to enjoy her meal and caused discomfort. Although we promptly ordered assistance from the staff and a bottle of mineral water, the response seemed lacking, which was disappointing given the situation.
Moreover, we were also disappointed by the portion size of the food. As regular patrons, we have come to expect generous portions at Kyochon 1991 Store. However, on this occasion, the portion size seemed inadequate compared to our previous visits, which left us feeling unsatisfied.
Although I have misplaced the receipt from our visit (which all the details I have attached here, you may actually retrieve the receipt from your systems, For more info: we ordered full set of Tteokbokki and a buy1 free 1 8pcs chicken drummettes and wings set).
I sincerely hope that you will address and resolve these concerns promptly. As loyal customers, we value the consistent quality and service provided by Kyochon 1991 Store. However, this particular experience fell short of our expectations.
We believe it is essential to bring these matters to your attention to ensure the continued satisfaction of your customers. We hope that you will take this feedback into consideration and implement measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. We look forward to seeing improvements and continuing to dine at your...
Read more2nd Nov 2021, 12.45 PM, the waitress was impolite, close to rude. Long queue of customers waiting to be seated but most of the tables are empty. Everyone here scanned My Sejahtera ages ago because of her being so slow and she raised her voice, tunjuk scan dulu. She should use a softer approach as people here are already fuming, hit the bell multiple times. The way she spoke also was very rough, perhaps she had a bad day with her boss, I dont know. Waiting for the food also takes ages which is not acceptable because this place is barely occupied. I wonder how long do we need to wait if this place was in full capacity. The owner ought to train his staff on manners, how to serve customers, smile, ramah mesra, how to work more efficiently, serve the food in more hygienic manner, cleanliness. If he does this, this will work wonders on customer's experience.
There was a dead insect or fly on the tip of the glass. Very very unhygienic the way they prepare the food. Hope they improve on this.
I also noticed the same complaints on poor service and slowness by other Google reviewers. This shows that no action taken by the owner on this. I urge the owner to take customer complaints more seriously, take action and positive reviews will definitely flow.
The positives are this place is quite high tech when comes to placing your order. You scan for the menu, select your food and make payment online right from the comfort of your seat. No complaints on placing food order. On a lighter note, ensure your phone have enough battery before entering the...

Just wrapped up a finger-licking session at KYOCHON, and let me tell you—this isn’t your average fried chicken joint. It’s a full-blown flavor experience that hits hard in all the best ways.
🐔 The Chicken Crispy? Check. Juicy? Double check. Whether you go for the Soy Garlic, Red Hot, or Honey Glazed, each piece is lacquered in a glaze so rich and sticky it practically glistens. The skin shatters with every bite, revealing meat that’s tender and perfectly seasoned. It’s the kind of chicken that makes you forget your manners—forks down, hands in.
🌶️ Red Series If you like your chicken with a kick, the Red Hot wings are a fiery revelation. Spicy, smoky, and unapologetically bold. It’s not just heat—it’s flavor with attitude.
🍯 Honey Series For those who prefer sweet over spice, the Honey Glazed is a golden dream. Sticky, sweet, and slightly savory, it’s dangerously addictive. You’ll think you’re full, then reach for one more.
🧄 Soy Garlic Series This one’s the OG. Deep umami, garlicky goodness, and a perfect balance of sweet and salty. It’s the flavor that made KYOCHON famous—and for good reason.
🥗 Sides & More Don’t sleep on the sides. The pickled radish is a refreshing palate cleanser, and the rice or salad options round out the meal without stealing the spotlight. Everything’s clean, crisp, and well thought out.
🧊 Drinks Pair it with a cold soda or iced tea to cut through the richness. Trust me,...
