AVOID this overpriced restaurant at all cost. Came here with my family on the second day of CNY. They didn’t allow ala carte orders as they had set lunch. So, we decided to order the RM 398.90 set which included the butter fried prawns. Upon serving, we were served with butter fried oyster mushrooms. We were not informed about the change of menu although there was a clause which states that the restaurant reserves their right to change the items in the menu without prior notice. Even the waiter did not notice. I was the one who noticed this and informed the waiter to which he said, ‘Sorry we are out of prawns’. Aren’t you supposed to be prepared with the raw materials as you are expecting a full house on the second day of CNY. My concern is not that, it is your service. Why weren’t we informed prior to serving the food? How can a packet of oyster mushroom be of the same price as a packet of vegetarian prawns? I ordered this set only because it stated BUTTER FRIED PRAWNS and NOT BUTTER FRIED MUSHROOMS!!!! None of the staff were courteous enough to entertain or address our concern! I am truly upset as the final bill came upto RM 496 (with added on 4 bowls of rice and a pot of jasmine tea). I decided to call the manager who wasn’t there on a jam packed day to address this issue and it certainly felt like talking to the wall. He only listened and did not say anything for compensation or whatsoever. Even the apology wasn’t a sincere one. Sadly, it ended up being one of the worst dining experience for us all. Please don’t treat your customers like this. Just Reflects badly on...

  1. overall - very clean environment with plenty of tea selection to choose from, plenty of seating but very limited parking, opposite Alexis, plenty of food choices ranging from dim sum to Chinese stir fry, pretty decent service and friendly staff, must order loh mai kai, yam puff, mock meat dim sum, prawn dumplings... from Nature's Vegetarian Restaurant (Bangsar) Sdn. Bhd.
  2. Loh Mai Kai - tasted as yummy as real loh mai kai, flavourful, sticky, and soft glutinous rice, decent and tasty toppings
  3. yam/taro puff aka woo kok - must order, soft and fluffy and creamy yam puff, wrapped with sweet sauce tender mock meat, must order, highly recommended
  4. special fried mee - decent portion, generous use of dark sauce making the noodle looks pleasant, noodle texture was soft and tender, could have added more ingredient to the fried noodle such as vegetables
  5. vege fish mee hoon - a little too sour for our liking, generous portion though
  6. crispy dumpling - must order food, tasted as exactly like the normal meat type, crispy and crunchy outer layer with a perfect layer of mock meat, very tasty
  7. fried vege radish cake - tasted above average, plenty of radish cake and others like bean sprouts and spring onion, flavourful too
  8. variety of dim sum - tasted average
  9. tang yuan - went at winter solstice day, got a free bowl of tang yuan....

We had a wonderful dining experience at Nature’s Vegetarian Restaurant in Bangsar, where we enjoyed a delicious variety of vegetarian dim sum dishes. The food was beautifully presented, full of flavour, and thoughtfully prepared to show just how satisfying vegetarian cuisine can be.

From crispy bites to hearty steamed selections, everything we tried was tasty and well-cooked. Standouts included the golden fried fuchuk rolls, juicy pan-fried buns, mock satay skewers, and the stone bowl of Korean chicken rice, which had a comforting warmth and a lovely depth of flavour. The textures and seasoning of the dishes were spot on, rich, savoury, and balanced.

The variety on the menu was impressive, offering something for both traditional dim sum lovers and those looking for new favourites. Each dish arrived hot and fresh.

Service was friendly and efficient throughout our meal. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the overall atmosphere was clean, calm, and welcoming, perfect for a relaxing meal with friends or family.

If you're looking for a vegetarian restaurant that delivers on both taste and variety, Nature’s Vegetarian Restaurant in Bangsar is definitely worth a visit. We look forward to...

Having been around since 2005, Nature’s Vegetarian Restaurant is a class above the rest. From the imposing Fu Lu Shou statues lining one side of the wall in the main dining area, to the shelves full of gourmet Chinese teas, you get the sense of something very special happening in this restaurant. The Chinese motifs in this restaurant are an attraction in itself. Parking here is pretty difficult to obtain. Easier to park in Bangsar Village and walk across to get to this place. While I didn’t get to savour the vegetarian dim sum served during breakfast, I did enjoy a wonderful lunch here comprising a dish comprising 3 types of meat, a nonya Assam fish and also stir fried broccoli with lion mane mushroom. All three dishes were very delicious. The mock meat was made so real that it was seriously difficult to tell it from real meat. For dessert, I had the sweet peanut cream dessert, which was the only thing that was a little too sweet for my liking. Prices are a little on the high side, but I felt it was worth the quality of the food served and I would be back again soon to try the dim sum.
