i love this place! i came to miroku in may to get hair extensions done, i was so nervous because hair extensions are a commitment to have but i was wanting them for a long time. Other places i had contacted outside of miroku didn’t use real human hair and the thing is with hair extensions once you purchase the hair, it’s yours and if i do want to keep up with hair extensions the quality of the hair is really important for that and also for the blend to look natural.
I had originally done the hair extensions with zaw, amazing stylist and really reassuring during the two day process of bleaching, dyeing my hair and also installing the hair extensions. I was super nervous for the knots of the extensions showing but truth be told they’re quite invisible! the only time i have noticed them showing is nearing the time i needed to get them moved up in early august or when i have put wayyyy too much oil in my roots.
Other than that i’ve only had the best experience with hair extensions they’re not painful 24/7 like i have heard from other user’s experiences and I think that’s because miroku uses feather hair extensions, so for their technique it’s not glueing the hair in or attaching with metal heavy beads, the hair extensions they use have a loop at the top that our natural hair threads through and it’s then secured in place with elastic thread that is wrapped quite tightly.
For me the installing and removal of the extensions (i did with Raymond) can thug at my hair a little bit but nothing unbearable and this is because i myself have a sensitive scalp already, meaning if anyone plays with my hair or does my hair i already can feel thugging so for me that’s a personal problem!
For maintenance and styling the extensions it’s soo sooo easy most nights when i want to style my hair the next day i go to sleep with leave in curling rod and a bonnet and wow i wake up the next more with the most low effort bouncy curls ever. in terms of washing and everything i don’t get that much of an oily scalp so i wash my hair once or twice a week and i think that may be the only burden i’ve faced with extensions because going from really short and thin hair that takes about 15 mins to dry to long luscious that takes maybe 40 minutes to dry but if thats my biggest issues with the extensions then i’m sold for life.
These extensions truly have given me so much more confidence, i feel sooooo pretty with them compared to my natural hair, i feel more comfortable to no wear makeup out as much because i’ve always said if my hair is ugly then i feel ugly, i used to never ever be able to even sleep without wearing makeup on my eyebrows or if i wear no makeup going out i would have to wear a face mask but now i can go out with my boyfriend for a quick breakfast in the morning and not feel the need to cake my makeup on!

Read moreI recently had the Bioma Hair Treatment done at Miroku Hair Salon Bangsar KL, and I couldn't be happier with the results. My stylist, Patrick is an absolute gem. Not only did he take the time to listen to all my concerns and preferences, but he also provided valuable insights into the Bioma treatment process. The expertise and attention to detail was very evident throughout the session, putting me completely at ease. From the comfortable seating to the soothing background music, every aspect was carefully curated to enhance the overall experience which whisked away any stress I had. The salon was neat and clean, creating a relaxing atmosphere not to forget the cake and tea they served me. My hair feels like silk, with a newfound shine and vitality. My hair looks healthier, stronger and more manageable than before. I wholeheartedly recommend the Bioma Hair Treatment at Miroku to anyone looking to pamper themselves and achieve gorgeous, healthy hair. Thank you once again Patrick and Eldon (very responsive and customer focused) and Mim, for your professionalism, expertise, and dedication. I'll definitely be returning for more treatments in the future!...
Read moreHello. I just wanted to share a complaint of mine with regards to the blow out service I had yesterday at Miroku Bangsar. One of your stylists made an accident and dropped a hot tong on my bare chest and you guys had no first aid kit or proper protocol to take care of a peeling burned skin. I was offered a damp towel and a lotion but you guys should've had a topical cream to aid that. After that, you guys never even waived the bill and only mentioned to get a free treatment if I do my hair which really pissed me off because getting a complimentary service is the least you can do for that. Not only that but no one even tried to get my phone number to check in on the situation whether the burn has escalated or not. Yesterday itself, my skin peeled really badly and now I'm at a loss because I have to go to a clinic to have this properly dressed up.
[Update] Everyone from Miroku reached out to me a couple of days after this post and they're extremely apologetic on how it ended. They sincerely apologised(the stylist, the manager and the owner) and offered to pay for my medical treatment and other needs. Lastly, they've refunded the service...
