TLDR: Rushed service, choppy and bad haircut, hair is cut to only look nice with styling. Lazy hair wash, very noisy and chaotic environment (on a Sunday noon, may be calmer on weekdays?)
Decided to try Number 76 after seeing some generally good reviews. Picked a Senior Stylist on a Sunday noon. It was veryyyy packed with patrons and their kids. So, there were a lot of kids running around, screaming and jumping on chairs all over the place. A bit distracting but it's fine. But definitely not a salon to go to if you're looking for some self care time on a weekend.
Showed some reference pics to the stylist, explained to her what I was looking for and that I rarely, almost never style or curl my hair and I wear it naturally. So, to keep that in mind to give me a cut that will require zero to no daily styling. She was very friendly but I could feel she rushed her way through my haircut and I even stopped her in the beginning because I noticed that the cut was a bit odd but she told me that she will fix and touch up at the end.
The hair wash was done by some intern or junior I think. Very rushed, almost lazy and rough. She barely washed through my scalp and was rushing her way. It almost felt like both the stylist and the hair wash was done hastily because they have back to back appointments to fulfill daily.
While the intern was drying my hair, the stylist came back to "fix" my hair WHILE the intern was drying my hair which was a bit strange. Then the stylist told me, the intern will curl my hair and then she'll come back again to fix my hair. After they finished styling, she came to trim it after my hair was styled. Which was a bit weird because of course my hair looked nice after styling so it was impossible for me to tell the difference, despite me telling her to give me a cut that would look nice with zero styling.
Came home and after a few hours, the curls died down and I finally got to see the acfual haircut. It was horrible. Choppy. Blunt at some parts and layered at others. And all the layers are not even connected to one another so it looks like I have 3-4 different style layers combined on my head now. The fringe, sides, back and top half of my head looks like 4 completely different things going on at the same time. I absolutely HATE IT. Even when I tie it into a ponytail, the ponytail looks shitty.
The stylist was friendly but lacked skill and it felt like every stylist there had to rush to fit everyone in according to their time slot which made them lack in detail. Intern was impatient and seemed angry the entire time.
I'm going back to my usual hair stylist in another studio in hartamas to get it fixed immediately tomorrow. Never coming back to 76 again. Horrible...

Iāll list down two separate visits over this year. To fully understand in depth, Iāve been diagnosed with Alopecia Areata (spot baldness) in early May 2024.
End of May 2024, Iāve came in for a hair trim with my hair stylist, Carmen. She was very understanding of my condition and gentle in handling my hair. The male staff who washed and blow dried my hair was extremely understanding and gentle with my hair. I was truly pleased by both of them on how comfortable they made me feel. Itās a shame I did not get the name of the male staff.
Fast forward in July 2024, Iāve came in for a birthday hair treatment and hair cut by stylist, Vennica. She was aware of my condition and was gentle with my hair. Sheād often check on me through the haircut. However, the female staff that washed and blow dried my hair was very unprofessional, and she was very rough. I did not catch her name but she has shoulder length hair. Iāve informed the female staff about my condition and showed her a particular large bald patch at the right side of my head prior washing. But she proceeds to rub vigorously especially the large bald spot during washing and treatment & handled my hair very vigorously during blow drying. She did not ask for my preferred water temperature before washing which is very unusual for Number 76.
Iāve informed Vennica about the incident and she apologised on her behalf but this is not her fault at all.
Please train and educate your staff to proper handle hair of people who have certain hair/scalp conditions. Iām only expecting your staff to be more attentive and gentle in handling my hair especially in such a renowned saloon, staff should be more understanding and merciful towards handling customers of similar hair loss incidents. But I leave the place feeling very disappointed and dissatisfied this time for this...

Hygiene was bad, ants on table
Chair and table was not upkeep prior to allowing us to be seated, hair everywhere on chair table and floor.
After the hair wash, with out any towel to dry the hair, she was seated under the Aircond for more than 30mins , got headache due to this issue
Then I told the cashiers Iām rushing for other appointments and I no longer want any trimming service as I was having a bad headache , cold and starting to get upset .
The senior director came and immediately cut my hair even knowingly that I said no need to cut due to my unhappiness of wasting time, and not servicing my needs in a timely manner .
The person who blow dry my hair was another rough experience , pulling my hair and making me very uncomfortable.
The. Person who wash my hair also like never eat rice , cincai cincai wash , water splash over my face , she need to go back to school .
I know cny is around the corner, every customer needs is needed to prioritise. Hence if your overbooked then please inform me or other customers that your fully occupied and not keep taking in bookings but not delivering the service .
All in all this is a very bad experience for such reputable outlet .
The so called branch manager Lucas , has such bad attitude as an experienced stylist
Lastly , my rebornding was a total havoc , my hair after the service , became brittle , making my lost hair at the hairline . Oh my . We give you our hair for treatment , but what I get retuned is bad service , brittle hair , and a total migraine .
