Quack Quack Bakery x HWC — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

This was my first visit to the cafe. I ordered a breakfast meal at the counter but the waiter served me another dish.

I'm not sure if he mentioned clearly if this was the breakfast meal I ordered.

I was deep into conversation with my friend. I didn't realise I was served the wrong dish.

I only realised I've been served the wrong dish when another waiter came by with the breakfast meal. He announced it clearly.

I had already cut up a little part of the meal by then, but I have not eaten it.

The first waiter offered to charge me for the wrong meal and put it in a takeaway bag but I refused.

Despite serving me the wrong meal in the first place, the first waiter gave me a subtle reprimand and warning. He warned that I should never do this again.

Nacho - I’ve never eaten such a bad nachos before. They used cold packaged nachos that we can get from any store and top up with cheap cheese and very little other toppings. The nachos ended up very dry, crumbling and cold

Nasi remak berempah- rice taste like coconut, warm and good texture. Sambal is the sweeter type, not spicy. Chicken is soft and has a nice seasoned to it. Overall it’s nice

tunacado- looks ⁠good but taste mediocre. The sourdough is too little and not warmed. Tuna is canned. But still edible and a good quick meal

Coffee is HWC standard which is good!

Service-wise, other than being friendly, service is passive. We have 3 people at our table, they would bring 3 cutleries but 2 plates? Quite hard to get their attention as well as most of them...

Since HWC collab with quack quack cafe, the service went out the door pretty fast. Yesterday i went there with my wife at 8.50pm, they're supposed to close at 10pm but arrived and said closing already and I even double checked the timing here, 10pm. I was like okay, not my luck maybe. Today i went again, just wanted a simple coffee, they said no electric, coffee machine not running. My guess is that they're either lazy or the person in charge is off because i see them trying to operate the machine and it was clearly running. No wonder i see less and less people each time I went.
