Palsaik Korean BBQ - Sunway Velocity Mall — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Seafood bibimbap! Returning again (despite the BBQ smells from surrounding tables) simply for the unlimited banchans. The smells are absolutely inviting but not good for my clothes after. LOL

Bibimbap here is very good, compared to other similar places. Rice is hot and fluffy with just the right amount of charred bits at the bottom.

Seafood consists of a generous serving of squid which was cooked just right (not rubbery) and three mid-sized prawns which were also fresh. There were bok choy, tofu skin, purple cabbage, beansprouts and julienned carrots as well in the bowl. I didn't need to add any of the extra sauce they provided on the side - the seasoning and sauce of the seafood plus the slightly salted seaweed was just the right amount of seasoning for me.

Banchans were great too - fresh greens, sauteed shiitake mushrooms (very flavourful and umami), pickled cucumber and kimchi (obviously).

Didn't refill the banchans though (cos I was full) but still appeals to my Asian genes 😂😂 that I have the option.

Gotta find a dining partner one day to try...

Delicious Korean BBQ restaurant located inside Sunway Velocity shopping mall. Plenty of seats available but some seats near the window is not too relaxing as easily seen from bypasses. Cozy ambient of the restaurant, and nice Korean interior design.

There are not many selections provided and the sets come with meat (mainly pork) for BBQ and seafood for the steamboat. Price rather at higher side.

Took the RM158 for 2paxes which includes 8 types of pork flavored. Serving portion was huge and sufficient even for 3paxes. This set comes with small portion of seafood soup, unlimited refill of salad, vegetables for wrapping & chili sauce with cucumber.

The food quality and taste delicious. The pork is tender and juicy. You could feel the flavored taste. Recommend taking the meat while it is hot.

Service was efficient during our visit as the restaurant was packed and long queue waiting. Quite packed during peak hours. Staffs were friendly, polite...

Environment is ok but service lousy. There are so much tables in the restaurant but so less staff help people cook? Staff did not check the menu after we have finished our set meals for quite some times because we have order kimchi fried rice. So we have asked the staff to check our ordered menu. Finally the rice came and the staff who delivered the rice told us there will be a staff to help us cook the fried rice. We have been waiting more than 10 minutes and no one come to cook our friend rice. Another staff came and apologize and told us they are so busy right now and said he will find staff to help us cook but still no one come after that. We are so disappointed and asked the cashier to remove our fried rice...
