I visited the restaurant with my family as we are looking to have some Hakka cuisine. Luckily I made a booking before heading over as its a full house when we arrived. We ordered a lot of dishes as we are a huge group and it took quite some time to arrive. Fortunately, most of the dishes were quite delicious especially the stew pork meat and the steam fish head. However, the portions were really insufficient for some of the dishes such as the meat and vegetable while the tofu is huge in portion despite ordering the same ‘big’ size. Usually at other restaurant, the waitress that take our order would know how to size up the portion looking at the number of people we have. They were also obviously understaffed as the service was below par, the staff/boss keep mention to wait and borderline rude as they are very busy. The restaurant was very hot, we were all sweating during the dinner. In short, food taste nice but the service/ environment need to...

The owners of this restaurant Mr Yap used to operate in Taman Midah. They have relocated to Taman Taynton just prior to the onset of the covid pandemic and have suffered. I’m glad their business have recovered and they deserved to be doing well. It’s a neighborhood restaurant that serves pretty delicious home cooked food with an emphasis on Hakka dishes. The menu is not extensive but has a good mix of meat, vegetables & seafood. They are pretty well known for their steamed fish head. Overall food quality is good with decent portion & reasonable prices. The place is not big and most tables seat 5-6 pax comfortably. Due to lack of manpower, sometimes they don’t do take away or take orders for noodles for single pax. They also open for lunch which is usually...

I recently had the pleasure of immersing myself in the culinary wonders of traditional Hakka dishes at Hakka Village Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience that exceeded my expectations.

The Hakka Braised Pork Belly, a true standout on the menu, unveiled the unique and distinctive flavors of Hakka cuisine.

In conclusion, Hakka Village Restaurant is a true gem for those seeking an authentic Hakka culinary adventure at a reasonable price. It's a place where affordability meets authenticity, making it a must-visit for all enthusiasts of...
