Slightly off Jalan Genting Klang but if you Waze Restaurant Law Yi, you won’t miss it!!!. The address reflect Danau Kota but it’s at the turning into the huge Yong Tau Foo shop. To be safe just waze it. This place is very much a neighbourhood eatery and comes weekends or holidays they are normally jam packed. Only two very relavant reasons for such as it’s either very very cheap or it’s very very good 😂😂😂😂😂. Well after today’s visit I must admit it’s’ both and it’s the reason why they grew from from one shop lot to now four. Not of the high end type but rather neighbourhood favourite makan place where you would reliably entertain a family or two. Today we came at the courtesy of in laws (empat ekor fortune). The must appraised dish is the steam fish, we ordered “Pak Soe Kung” or catfish ( and it’s the bouncy textured type, better than those in Janda Baik / Bukit Tinggi Chinese village). Most satisfying is actually the sweetness and freshness of the fish ( no muddy odor nor taste). The Chicken are delicately steamed with goji berry and Chinese Wine. We also had the smoked chicken ( ordered duck but came chicken), ended up cleaning plates as well. We had the two flavoured ribs and both are equally as good, tender and juicy but pack with flavours from the two specialty sauce. The special greens was absolutely stunning as we order from recommendation of the captain. I think it’s called “Suen Fa stir fried with black beans”, it’s actually garlic stalks and flower buds- spectacular and it’s now my favourite greens. The fried dishes include prawns with salted eggs and we also have brinjal fries with chicken flosses, it’s yummy!!! 🥹🤤🤤🤤. The final attraction is the total price as we spent about RM300++ for a table of 9pax. Friendly prices and pocket friendly. Left the place feeling...

Read moreI am absolutely furious right now! I've been a frequent patron of this restaurant and it's one of my absolute favorites. But this time I found a steel ring in my soup and the foreigner staff had the audacity to not even apologize and instead inpatient asked me if I wanted to change my dish before taking it away. And when I asked what to do with the dish, she replied with an impolite and impatient "cancel lo". I'm not coming here to expect for any free food, I am beyond disappointed with their rude attitude towards me, a paying customer! I sincerely hope the restaurant owner takes notice of their staff's behavior towards customers. This was an absolutely terrible dining experience and I am...
