This is not going to be a popular opinion but our family of 6 adults and 1 child went with high expectations due to the positive reviews but left sorely disappointed. We ordered a portion of gimbap, samgyetang, jokbal, japchae, grilled eel, parboiled squid and sikhye and the bill came up to RM300. The positive: 1) Several options of banchan and most taste good but one (has gone bad; tasted sour and smelled bad). When we returned it and gave feedback, there was not even an apology. 2) Complimentary dessert (watermelon was fresh and some Korean kuih -like ang ku kueh, filled with red bean paste) 3) Gimbap was okay but not out of the world 4) Japchae and grilled eel were okay too. The negatives: 1) Squid- Serving was terribly sad only as big as my finger (refer to picture). They served 3 small squids but the puffery was totally next level 2) Samgyetang- it was served lukewarm, zero ginseng taste and tasted extremely"chickeny"(yes I am aware it is a chicken soup), and chicken texture "powdery" i.e: does not taste fresh 3) Jokbal- I am aware that jokbal are pork knuckles (bony) but we were served a platter of bones and skin (literally), not a bit of meat was served.(refer to picture). Do Google to see what a Jokbal is supposed to look like. This platter cost RM90. 4) Sikhye was too sweet for us -but this is probably depending on personal preference. Apologies for the harsh review but we left hungry and upset. Not too many pictures as we were caught off guard and I did not plan to leave a review but thought I should.

Food: There are many side dishes provided, but some of them I don’t eat.🤣But I like their anchovies and sweet potato, taste good. The bbq is okay, but I personally think the spicy one is more delicious. They are also given lettuce to eat with the meat. Now seems that can grill it yourself? The dumplings can acceptable. The kimchi soup is delicious. It’s sour and spicy make me appetizing. The spicy tofu soup will be a bit greasy after drinking it for a long time. The pork soup has a strong pork taste so I don’t like it. Spicy tteobokki not bad. It’s not sticky and not very spicy but I prefer the combination of tteobokki + sausages in a stick, especially the sweet and spicy sauce that coated is delicious👍🏻In terms of price, I think it is cheap compared to other Korean restaurants. Service: Staff and the boss both are friendly, always smile and welcome guests. The staff also patience when wait for me order🤣 Environment: Have WiFi have air-con.Very comfortable.

Very friendly and authentic place opened by a Korean auntie. This sajangnim is very friendly and seems passionate about her food and restaurant. We chatted a bit and she told us about her past experiences making Korean food for decades in Malaysia. The food comes with a huge array of tasty and homemade banchan. Their jjajangmyeon is tasty but is on the lighter side in terms of flavour, and same goes with their naengmyeon. The lady boss (sajangnim) explained that their food derives from a slightly different part than the typical ones(at other restaurants), hence the toned down and more neutral flavours. Overall, I find it equally as tasty and in fact even healthier. We also bought perilla leaves (깻잎), kimchi and rice cake dessert (찰떡). All of them were nice since they were made in store fresh. Would recommend this place to others to try authentic Korean food.

Worst Korean food I had in KL for 10+ years.. Been disappointed by all those good reviews or recommended by xiaohongshu.

We ordered Chicken Ginseng Soup and Cheese Tobboki only.

Soup - Not what i expected as this is more towards pepper chicken soup. I cant barely taste the herb or ginseng as all covered by pepper (white) taste. Chicken and ingredients doesnt look good conditions or quality, it so dried up.

Tobboki - One bite of the tobboki i can tell this is so much different than other korean shop or even worst than some instant packaging. It doesnt have the texture of spongey but taste like not well kept and spoiled. The taste of the gravy is nothing i tried before, its more towards salty and thick until i have to shake off the gravy when eating tobboki.

Side dishes - Totally out of standards and even worst than some cheap shop or buffet that offering. First time i had a kimchi that are only strong salty taste, i even doubt this is salted vege instead.

And now come to the price, 2 dishes and 1 white rice without any additional beverages it cost 72RM. It’s definitely not worth the bucks as i will recommend go Seoul BBQ, menjalara or Wonjo...
