We had the pleasure of dining at Sejiwa Titiwangsa for dinner and were genuinely impressed! Since Balai Seni Negara closes at 5 PM, we were the only customers when we arrived — a peaceful, cozy vibe perfect for a quiet meal.
We ordered the Chicken Burger and Smashed Beef Burger, and both exceeded expectations. The portions were generous, and they definitely don't hold back on the fries! The beef burger, especially, was one of the best I’ve ever had — juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I’m now really curious to try their lamb burger next time. Big compliments to the chef!
For dessert, we had their croffle with caramelized banana, and wow — it was superbly good! I'm usually not a croffle fan, but this one completely changed my mind. Just a tip: if you plan to order croffle, let them know when placing your order to serve it later, so you can enjoy it fresh and hot after your main meal. Personal suggestion: it would be even more amazing if they served it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream — I think that would take it to the next level!
The ambience of the place is lovely, calm, and inviting — made even better by the warm and friendly staff. They shared that Sejiwa has been around for about two years, and I truly hope they keep going strong for many more. Although their outdoor seating is temporarily closed due to roof repairs (expected to finish in 2–3 months), the indoor setting was just as pleasant.
We arrived around 8:30 PM, and it was perfect — quiet, relaxing, and still very much open. Highly recommend visiting after Balai Seni closes if you're looking for a great evening spot. Prices are reasonable for the quality and experience — worth every ringgit! I didn’t get to try their coffee, but judging by everything else, I’m sure it’s great too.
A quick tip if you're driving: enter via the boom gate opposite Pusat Darah Negara. If you're visiting after Balai Seni's hours, just let the guard know you're heading to Sejiwa, and they’ll let you through. The parking is at the far end — just drive along the building.
All in all, we had a truly lovely evening. Thank you to the everyone at Sejiwa Titiwangsa. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to explore more from their interesting menu. Highly...
Read moreThis cafe is located at the National Art Gallery. Outside the operating hours of the gallery, the cafe can only be found from the back compound by climbing quite a number of stairs. (I just highlighted this matter as I noticed that there was no access for the OKU with a wheelchair. And it was quite troublesome for those with knee pain) - Correct me if I'm wrong.
The environment is good. Quiet, cozy and peaceful. They have 2 sections - indoor and outdoor seating.
We booked seats for 6pm dinner on Saturday and upon arriving, we were quite surprised that the indoor seating was empty. We're lucky I guess, so that we can treat the place as private. 😅
I think the cafe might be packed later as we noticed more vehicles entered when we left the building at around 8pm.
There is surau located inside the Art Hospital. It was spacious and comfortable. Of course you have to exit the cafe, walk down the stairs and go towards the front building.
For the f&b, I'd just give an average ratings. They were good but not so outstanding. Price is considered on the high side.
Service wise, good. From the beginning when I started to contact them, the response was fast. The waiter is friendly and helpful. The food was served within a reasonable time.
Except for the first issue that I highlighted above, overall experience...
