Kuala Lumpur International Hotel — Hotel in Kuala Lumpur

Getting deal from agoda, for rm136/night. Since i need 1 night stay for a business trip, i think it will be no harm if i give this hotel a chance.||||I need a room with a bathtub and have it mentioned in advance in booking remarks. So, i have been given room no 1607. ||||The room is in shabby condition:||Old stained carpet||Watermark on toilet ceiling ||Poor WC condition with missing component||Dirty(rusty?) water||Light fitting no function ||Poor furniture||Air-condition not functioning||No proper directory for in room phone||||Hence, difficult to reach housekeeping. ||||After several attempt to report about the aircond, finally they promise to visit my room. I've been waiting for 1.5 hour but nobody show up. ||||In the future, i will try to avoid to stay in this hotel. I would rather give some other hotel a chance.||||Thanks for making my stay here the most...

This hotel worth the money, if you are not picky/choosy and wants a place just to sleep & freshen up..

*Nearby to IJN/hospitals, private medical centres..

A decent breakfast spread.

*There are 2 Towers with Tower B is the one with newer rooms. The reception is on 3rd Floor.

*During my 3 nites stay, 2 lifts were out of order leaving with only 1 Lift available for Tower A (20 floors). Surprisingly, the waiting & travel time for that lift was fast compared to some place that I know of(with less than 10-storeys), seems like waiting for ages...

*Room is spacious & complete with basic facilities..Useful Note to BF moms, it has a mini bar (not a Chiller) that will freeze yr ice-packs/milk...The interior may be outdated but it's not a big deal..

*A lot of Malay eateries/stalls nearby, so you wont...

We stayed 3 nights st the intercontinetal KL and it was fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and made use of the outdoor pool after our sightseeing visits. In particular Mr Gerald Ho the manager of the club floor was particularly helpful, efficient and charming and made our stay superb! We thank you all for making our stay memorable for all the right reasons and would thoroughly recommend this hotel as the staff made it. We hope to return to an Ihg hotel in Asia or Australia in the near future and with this experience we cannot wait. The team throughout the hotel were faultless and in particular the front desk, courteous bell staff and Mr Gerald Ho and his team were second to none so we feel very fortunate to have been a guest.
