went a few months back for weekend lunch, store fairly empty (less than half full) ordered goma dalgona. you can see the diff between what i got vs what its supposed to look like. as soon as it arrived i noticed but thought 'there's no way the waiter themselves didnt notice this?? so it has to be okay, right?' but obv the texture is as so bc its gone bad, tasted sour. raised it to the staff and they waived it off my bill and offered a new drink of choice. while i appreciate the gesture (which is arguably bare minimum) i still cannot fathom why they didnt notice from the get go, and couldnt just inform me that the drink is unavailable, and to change my order. bc from the way it was handled, it seemed like he did notice but still decided to serve it anyway. why didnt you yourself taste it to check, if you already notice the texture and look is insanely off? for the rest of the orders (matcha latte was powdery, tastes of cheap quality) and both food orders were bland. staff service was okay, nothing to shout home for. the store is quite hot, ventilation isnt that good hence couldnt really feel the aircond (unless they turned it off that day). disappointed to say the least and would never revisit considering there's plentiful other options nearby and the quality is lacking compared to the bangsar branch. i've been a long time supporter of the brand and have visited almost every outlet of sunbather and kakiyuki (even the ones closed down i've visited before), hence the 3 star review is very generous. had this been a brand i couldnt care less about, easily 1 star review.

Went for their famous Sando Sandwiches, was not disappointed, it came exactly like it’s supposed to look. I tried the Ajitsuke Tamago Sando and Spiced mushroom Sando. The portion was HUGE. The filling was so much, it was overflowing! The bread was okay, it has a nice fragrant wheat flavour, but it was slightly too thick for my liking. One cannot take a full bite of the sandwich. I personally love the Ajitsuke Tamago filling, the egg was not overly salty nor sweet, with that oozy yolk, it was amazing! The mushroom sando was abit disappointing, not my favourite. I couldn’t appreciate the presence of mushroom , all I tasted was mashed potato patty and lots of spices. The mushroom is almost nowhere to be found. The tamago omelette on the other hand was delicious. The portion is extremely huge, I ordered two sandos for two person, and it was too much. It would be best shared a sandwich among two people. The environment was cozy and nice, I love their decorations and design, it is a great place to hang out and chat over a cup of coffee. The service is decent, it is run by energetic young peoples. Lots of people came for their fancy drinks as well, however we were too full to try. The price is slightly high, maybe once awhile when we treat ourselves, definitely not gonna afford daily visits. Was the price worth it? Hmm it is rather a simple menu, probably not that worth it after first try.

It’s a popular place at the Sphere from the look of the late morning crowd. Place is understaffed. Indoor aircon seating has bad air circulation, you smelled like food after dining there for sure. So we sat outside with stand fan blasting away near us to keep us cool. First of all, there’s no menu & no table service. You need to scan the QR code that’s on the table to view the menu. You need to make your orders and payment at the counter inside. I ordered the Maple Peanut Chicken Sando & a latte. The sando looks nice & delicious but it came with cheese I think so I clarified with the staff since cheese wasn’t mentioned in the menu. Later the staff came back to confirm there’s cheese in it and told us they can’t change it since it was already ordered and delivered! But I told them cheese wasn’t stated in the menu unlike other items ! So reluctantly they changed for me. The sando looks nice in pictures but I only give it a 2.5/5 probably it’s not my type of food. The portion was huge but I didn’t like the hard dark rye bread it came with. The sauce was ok but insufficient. The chicken meat was not much. At Rm26 even with the generous portion, it looks big due to the thick rye bread, I feel it’s overpriced. Perhaps it’s other rice menu could be better but that’s for another time if I ever did come back 🤔.

Very disappointed. Service was good and staff is attentive but the food was absolutely average. Christmas special edition drinks and dessert is absolutely substandard. Looks cute but tastes awful. 3/10 Chocolate shake with whip cream and jam didn't taste rich or decadent..some chunks of ice still in the drink and the plastic straw was low quality and split open even after a new replacement. The drink at least tastes like some very diluted iced Milo lmao 😂

2/10 White Bear Daifuku. First of all the look is cute. That's it. The daifuku mochi skin is sooo thick it's almost hard to chew. Not the best mochi skin either as the glutinous rice taste was too strong maybe ratio of the dough is off. And the filling is just pitiful. Cream doesn't taste sweet and the "chocolate filling " inside is one small piece of unmelted chocolate chunk. At least change to a chocolate sauce or some chocolate coated fruit would add to the texture and flavour. The entire daifuku was tasteless and hard to eat.

6/10 Neapolitan spaghetti Bolognese. This at least was edible. Japanese style pomodoro spaghetti, sweet and tangy, but again lacking in depth of flavour or complexity in the dish. Tasted like something I can make at home 😄

5/10 tamagoyaki. 10rm for a plate of less than satisfactory egg omelette rolls. The salt or seasoning wasn't equally distributed ended up some pieces were too salty and some not savoury enough. The tamagoyaki tasted tough and dry like it was pre made and only reheated. No hint of dashi stock used in it.

Environment is ok but the ventilation is AWFUL. horrible cooking smoke and oil stinking up the place because of their open kitchen. Some plug points available but NOT WORKING! I don't know if I was just unlucky to order the dishes that aren't so good here or what..but I don't think I'll return. Kudos to the staff though they were kind and...

Super nice ambience and interior but unfortunately this has to be one of the worst lunch I've ever eaten in my life. RM40 for this is definitely not worth it. I'm not a food critic but I'm going to try my best to explain what I didn't like about my meal here.

First of all, I have waited 30min+ for my one meal to be served, I'm not blaming anyone as I went there during lunch hours so no choice lah.

Sadly, the fried shrimp was cold and super fishy I had to spit it out, it clearly wasn't fresh at all.

Using pickle relish and tartar sauce for the green salad is a terrible combination, tartar sauce is meant for protein, putting it on greens only emphasizes the bitterness.

Also it's not a wise choice to put hamburger with demiglace sauce next to the tartar sauce salad, it makes the whole plate sloppy and watery.

The pumpkin korokke is homemade I assume but it doesn't have any seasonings, it was very bland, the pumpkin failed to bring out it's sweetness.

The chicken patty was slightly undercooked and the bread was also below average I have nothing much to say, just disappointing.

I'm usually not the kind to waste any food but this was an exception.

I tried to force myself to finish what was served on my plate but I couldn't, when I explained to the staff, they said they couldn't compensate for my terrible experience because I had eaten some portion of it. But they were kind enough to offer a 10% discount for my experience but to be honest it doesn't make up for my experience hence I'm writing this review.

I'm hoping this place can improve the food quality as they already have good location and ambiance, don't let it go waste...
