This is halal-certified kopitiam by JAKIM,in case anyone is wondering.
My second time here. The first time I was here, one evening after work, I had a simple meal of cocoa (I think) butter kaya toast with iced pure white coffee (instantly fell in love with its kaw, caramelised tasted of the coffee).
So this time around, I was determined to have breakfast over here.
I had a simple mee (beehoon) siam, served with sambal, fried chicken and fried egg on the side. Beehoon was slightly on the spicier side, a bit bland, I must say, but would taste much better after a splash of calamansi and of course, with sambal.
My sister had char kuey teow, Penang-style. Also, a bit bland, but it was served with bird's eye chilli bits in light soy sauce, to complement the dish.
For drink, I had iced kopi C kaw. They gave a glass of ice, with sweetened coffee and evaporated milk on thenside Indeed it was "kaw", with a sourish aftertaste (a typical kopi kampung taste). The sweetness was just nice enough to balance the kaww taste.
All in all, great service. Drinks arrived after 5mins of ordering. Order's taken using QR code (but you may opt for other options if the line is lagged). They have so many menus offered, so we may come again for other dishes.
Comfortable indoor seatings; parking spots would be a bit limited if you come...
Read moreI'm a frequent patron at this establishment for years but what happened recently will never make me come back to this establishment. I did not have my phone and called the bell a few times to place my order. After sometime waiting another family that came after me was able to receive their order and I'm yet to place mine. You are clearly understaffed so I don't blame on your staff for not being able to assist me but my wait time was too long and even after I walked away no one noticed and bothered. As a paying customer I just felt like I wasted my time. First I decided to dine at your establishment hence I drive over, then spent time to find parking - which was fine because I thought I was going to be able to enjoy my food later. However what I experienced today just showed that service is not your priority.
Btw I have read your replies to other similar feedback and definitely you can do better to improve rather than just providing generic reply instead of mentiong the action you're going to take to work...

It offers comforting, nostalgic flavors with a modern twist comprising of a wide variety of Malaysian and Nanyang-style comfort food. The menu includes signature drinks like Hainanese Milk Tea, Teh Tarik, Cham (Coffee + Tea), Pure White Coffee and meals like dim sum, Hainanese toast, malaysian noodles like curry laksa, mee rebus etc., western meals, a small variety of vegetarian meals, dessets like cendol, ice kacang etc. and even side dishes like pan fried radjish cakes, gyoza etc. Besides offering meals in the restuarants, the restaurant also sells frozen meals, dim sums and a variety of sambal and curry paste. I had wet mee siam which was quite tasty but the kuah was a little diluted. The pan fried radish was with 'wok hei' but on the sweet side. Anyway its a good place for enjoying nostalgic food and chill with friends in a comfortable...
