Ordered puffy milky pot and grass jelly milk tea.
All others outlet they serve the puff in four small pieces, this is the only outlet that serving one whole puff which makes me really confused that how to dip the puff into the soup.
Grass jelly milk tea is not grass jelly but cincao. I like grass jelly but not cincao, so it definitely ruin the whole feeling there, plus the price is not a price for cincao.
Saw another table ordered wrongly for a seafood pot and they asked whether can they cancelled it and reorder for others stuff, but the boss said they can’t take back the raw material back to the kitchen once they have served it to the customers. (Well, now with covid around us it’s totally reasonable)
But then subsequently the lady boss approached them and said since they don’t eat the seafood, instead of them packing the seafood home and throw the seafood away, mind as well she take back those seafood in order to reduce wastage. (Seriously?! And yes, she took it back to the kitchen)
As business owner wanna be cost saving is okay, but I think it should be within a reasonable extent. Hope they’ll be some improvement there and more professional in running a...
Read moreCame for dinner on a Friday night. No booking needed and there were space available but it did fill up.
What is good about this place is you can order single sets. Which means that everyone at the table can essentially be eating separate things: one can be having a hot pot, one can be grilling meat or one can be having an army stew.
We ordered a classic set which comes with soup, a mixture of hotpot ingredients such as vegetables, crab sticks and beancurd. We are allowed to choose one protein from 4 options: fish, pork, chicken and lamb. Some required an add on to the price). We also got the 2 pesos stone pot which was essentially the same but they grilled the ingredients first before adding the broth to the pot. And we also ordered a fish and chip set which came with rice.
The soup was pretty tasteless so maybe we needed to get Tom yum etc the next time. Luckily sauces were provided and you can get them yourselves from the counter. You can mix the sauces however you please and though limited in options, it helped...
Read moreThe chicken soup tasted and smelled like drain water—extremely unpleasant. When we asked the crew about it, they mentioned that many customers had complained about the soup lacking flavor, so they added preserved cabbage. As a result, the soup became overly salty with the same unpleasant drain water flavor and no hint of chicken at all. The "free soup" from a chicken rice stall tastes much better than yours! Don’t treat consumers like fools! Chicken soup should taste like chicken, not preserved cabbage. Your soup is seriously lacking in quality! The price charged should not be for such terrible food; it is truly disgusting. We’ve given your brand multiple chances, but the soup remains the worst we've ever had. Other soups are also pitifully thin, as if they’re just being watered down continuously. We won’t be visiting again! This chain shows no...
