Brian's Bar — Restaurant in Langkawi Island

While the atmosphere was gorgeous, and the place felt warm and cozy. The owner or bartender was rude and unwelcoming also he kept ignoring us, while the place wasn’t that busy… even as we were waiting for a while as soon as another person came to order the bartender ignored us and went straight to take their order, that’s when we asked for the bill and left after the first round. Service was shoty first round took a long while, even to take our order it took a while. We ordered amaretto sour, tequila lemonade, and bloody kimchi. The amaretto sour was delicious and very refreshing! the tequila lemonade was okay nothing too special. But, the bloody kimchi was more of bloody hell!! that was the worst cocktail I’ve ever tasted in my life… it tasted awful and totally off balance.

On the plus side there is a gorgeous chubby cat who goes around and demands love and that makes the atmosphere...

We came to Brian’s bar 3 days in a row for their amazing cocktails and great laid back vibes, and the accompaniment of some furry friends. Brian and Jun were great and immensely hospitable.

The Malaysian series cocktails really embodied the quintessential flavours of Malaysian drinks (think Milo Dinosaur, Teh Tarik Ais and Bandung Ais etc) while packing a strong punch. Brian even specially allowed us to takeaway the drinks in apt plastic bags (ala Malaysian style)!!

This place is a hidden gem. Stop wasting time and pop here for a drink. Brian and his friends were very welcoming and just super chill to be around, comfortable setting, perfect place to escape the party scene. You can sense there is a sense of community there and support between them all, I admire.And not to forget Brian is a master of his craft always seeking to improve. I love. I wish him and everyone, all the goodness that life has to offer. Will definitely come here, the moment i come back to Langkawi
