Jiang Xi Restaurant 江西家乡菜 — Restaurant in Malacca

This is a typical china mali restaurant serving delicious,spicy,fragrant & tasty dishes that encompasses the whole gamut of surf @ turf meats.

Their location by the road front makes it easy to find. The parking is convinient and accessible.

Their range of dishes and cooking styles is not just elaborate, exciting and tasty but also very service oriented and fast. This place is not a full service restaurant though. You need to refill your own pot of hot water. Cold Drinks is by self service. Take what you want.

Just make sure the place is not full and someone can speak mandarin as they are stricly chinese...

Taste: Food taste was not good, the pickle fish was cold and it taste like lime juice and fish…feel like it is not prepared by Chinese.

Service: ordered 3 dishes came 2 dishes…ask them for three times for the third dish already still not served but other table that comes later than us are all served fully ( only 3 tables) only when we decided to cancel they said its done and served it immediately

Atmosphere: very hot, there is enough aircond and fan but they did not switch it on, so it is hot and shirt was very smelly coming out from the shop.

Price: acceptable but it is totally not worth it....

Celebrated my birthday in this restaurant last night ! Terrible experience !! Zero service....had to helped ourselves to all things !! My guests were asked to refill tea on the own and even brought it upstairs and downstairs!! Very slow in serving food.....50% of the food is badly cooked !! My invited little guests had to wait for an hour before the food arrived !!! The air-conds r not working, my guests were all sweating !! What they promised never came through....very disappointed and felt so embarrassed towards my guests !! Never want to go back again !! Bad...
