I’m gonna be completely honest with y’alls, the food was admittedly pretty good, albeit a bit pricy, but the service, attitude and ethics of the staff and owner greatly overshadows the taste of the food and made me vow to never set foot upon this café in my life ever again.
Visited this place first with my parents and it went fine, the food was great as mentioned and since I was with my parents the price wasn’t a problem for me. No special comments.
Then the next time I came, it was a few weeks later and I went in with a group of friends. 8, to be specific. And so we requested for 3 tables to be merged together so we can all sit together and have our lunch, but it was ultimately rejected by the staff, in a not-so-friendly tone, too. That was the first crack in the glass.
Fine, we were forced to split and sit on 3 different tables which kinda ruined our dining experience, but whatever.
We then placed our orders and was immediately met with the most nonsensical response all 9 of us have ever heard: each one of us were required to order a main course AND a drink to dine-in at the café. This DID NOT happen when I visited with my parents previously, which shows that they give different treatments to different groups of people.
It’s worth noting that we were in our uniforms at the time, so the fact that they were willing to bring up such a nonsensical requirement to a bunch of students who haven’t even started earning money on their own and forced all of us to spend extra to dine-in is straight up IMMORAL AND DISGUSTING, and ultimately left a bad taste in our mouths 🤢
Then, we proceed to waiting nearly an hour for our food to be served when there were barely any other customers there, which again shows how terrible the service and treatment of the staff were, and that was the last nail in the coffin.
The discriminatory treatment we faced was disgusting, I’m not one who writes reviews everywhere I go, in fact this is my second review ever, but the fact that they were willing to scam a bunch of students like that is unethical and deserves a 1-star review. NEVER. RETURNING....
Read moreWent here for dinner. The environment was nice and cozy with easy decorations. The cafe was crowded when we arrive so it’s a bit noisy.
It seems like only a female worker order for us, make our drinks and serve our food. I felt exhausted when I saw a worker need to do so much work in such a short period.
Please be aware, they need a long time to prepare your meal and please don’t blame them about it. They’re working hard to give us good service.
We ordered fish&chips and salted egg chicken chop. The taste was really well and my dad really love their chicken chop! Well-seasoned and fried till golden brown. Well done to the chef!
For the dessert, we ordered yamochi waffle and the taste was good too! The waffle was crispy and make a good combination with soft yam mochi. Would like to try other flavour next time.
Overall, it’s good place to hang out with friends. Good service and good food. I will...
Read moreThid space located at 1st floor was nicely arranged with combination of huge table blocks and smaller tables, suitable for 2 to 8 person gathering. Menu is easy to choose from, 2 pages consists of pasta, dessert, waffle, side eats and drinks.
Seafood Aglio olio and ham carbonara are presentable but portions are small for the price. Breve coffee is pretty good, the creamy thick milk complements well with the espresso. The best item I can suggest is the truffle fries which has fragrant seasoning, and the fries itself is crisp outside, served hot, and soft in the inside.
In summary, 3 main course, 3 drinks, 1 side dish costs about RM100++ after...
