小霸王火锅烧烤自助 Baanana King Steamboat & BBQ Buffet — Restaurant in Pahang

Not as good as it is shown on social media or the review here. Shrimps and shell fish were not fresh. Most of the meat are cut too thick and makes it hard to chew. Only the thin sliced pork were okay.

Mushroom soup base tasted like a heap of mushroom flavouring were added and too salty, that at the end the soup become so salty a friend commented the cooked veggie tasted like salted veggie.

Vegetable choices are very limited and looked like they've been sitting there for quite some time. A surprise to us since there are plenty of vegetable farms here.

Their dessert, ice creams looks unapetizing, hardened and so hard to scoop that makes one wonder when was their last refill.

They provide sesame sauce that make the food somewhat enjoyable.

Don’t be ridiculously fooled by the photos they posted. The overall meat is not very fresh except for the vegetables. There are flies flying inside the sushi covered box and the sushi seems like it was placed there overnight.

There’s dead flies in the drink as shown in the photos and the staff ignored the issue. No proper service was given. Many had talked about their varieties so I won't itemise into detail, but with the price, I don't actually see such varieties back in KL PJ. Each meat has few marinations, plus smoked duck which already made it worthwhile. Service is good within expectation, I was told we can change aluminium foil for the BBQ, and when I requested, they did it happily.

The atmosphere is good naturally as we are in Cameron Highland and it's an open air restaurant.
