Attention all everyone especially foreign visitors who decided to dine in at this restaurant, I strongly urge you to avoid it at all cost!
My family (inclusive of three children) waited for more than an hour to be served at the restaurant and yet, despite approaching the crews to check on the duration that we need to wait the food as the children were hungry, they arrogantly told me that they don't know, and tell us "if we can wait or not". Not knowing how long more I am require to wait and the children are hungry, how am I supposed answer them?
Apart from the above, I would like to clarify that we made our order earlier than some of the tables that had arrived later than us but to our surprised the tables that came later were served instead. I observed that those tables that came later and were served are the locals so, I felt some biasness that how the restaurant operates.
After waiting for 1.5 hours, I approached the crews again to check on the food, they literally ignored me and gave me the arrogant look from their facial expressions! My family decided to leave the restaurant with hunger.
Once again I urge all visitors NEVER patron this restaurant as you will just waste your precious time at the arrogant and bias restaurant that only...
Read moreEasily spotted when passing by main road up Cameron Highlands at night due to big signboard. Had dinner first time despite longer serving and order taking time, the dishes well served, taste was really delicious. We ordered sweet and sour fry Groupa, mei cai braised pork belly, 3 types steam egg and stir fry squid with celery. Fish was great with rightly blend sauce. Pork belly melt in mouth. Egg was smooth while the stir fry dish got great wok hei. Full of expectation went patronage second time just few weeks apart with same steam egg and stir fry squid but totally different! Steam egg over cook giving very rough texture while the celery lack wokhei and oil brightness only black pepper taste. Order sauce steam tilapia but sauce lack touchu more like dilute sweet and sour taste. When ask, only the waiter told dishes not good as previoud coz not cook by same chef. The first time was cooked personally by boss. So, my frank advice is ask who the chef you place order when visiting...
Read moreA friend who use to grow up in brichang recomended this restaurant. 7 of us decided to check it out for an early dinner. With it big yellow signage we located it in no time. Typical 2 old shops, with minimal decor. As we arrived 5.30pm we have no issue to get a table. The foreign worker came to take our order in no time. We ordered long bean belacan, sweet potato leave stir fry, salty egg pumpkin, claypot salty fish with pork belly and half a Kampung chicken steam. All dishes were delicious. The long bean very fresh and firm to bite. The unique pumpkin was heaven. The star goes to the chicken which came with mash ginger paste. Price Resonable to cheap except the chicken RM35 meaning RM90 for a bird!! We did enquire price for grouper RM63 per kilo which is on the high side. Overall it was a satisfying dinner and we will come back for other dishes. You need to constantly shoo the flies though, a confirmation of the tasty food. I would recomend you...
