King Kong Steamboat & Western 金刚火锅西餐厅 — Restaurant in Pahang

Went with family 6pax, ordered our food waited for 20mins until our food arrived. There were only 2 other tables when we arrived. When food were served, all went well and we enjoyed…. until !!! We asked to add soup to our hotpot, half of the food are still raw. Waited for 30mins but the soup refill never came. Well, we tried adding the warm water that we ordered into the pot, hoping to clear off the remaining food without further complaining. But then the gas stove stopped hence we ask to change the gas cartridge. 15mins passed by, neither the cartridge nor the refill came to us. The photo shows the miserable pot of half cooked ingredients, we decided to leave after 15 more...

Ordered a lot of food. Pork chop was very bad. They used minced meat to prepare the dish. Crispy skin chicken chop Aglio olio was equally terrible. Chicken meat was not well cooked. The meat can see some raw parts. The aglio olio was prepared with onions.. there was only taste of onions. Nothing else. Charcoal chicken burger was also terrible. Meat was overcooked and tough.

Overall I don’t understand why this place has high ratings. They don’t deserve this. The only thing on menu that’s worth eating is the luncheon meat fries and lonely hotpot(1-2pax).

Don’t bother ordering anything else. It’s not worth the time and stomach. Next door hotpot looks so...

The menu is very confusing. Tries to do/be/have a bit of everythong, local, asian, european, american - unfortunatly it seems to do none of it justice.

Food is ok, Hotpot for one is a nice option. The charcoal burger bun is chewyer than need be. A normal bun would probably be better. The fried chicken in there was juicy an nice though.

Just don't get the lam chop. The piece was quite thin, which lead to it beeing more than well done...
