Tucked in the cool heights of Gohtong Jaya, Sin Kie delivers a fantastic dining experience for fans of fresh and flavorful Chinese cuisine.
The highlight of my meal was the Patin Fish, steamed with ginger. The fish was incredibly fresh and tender, with the fragrant ginger sauce enhancing its natural sweetness. This dish is a must-try for anyone who loves delicate, well-balanced flavors.
Another standout dish was the Crispy Pork, where the meat was perfectly seasoned and cooked to achieve a satisfying crunch on the outside while remaining juicy and tender inside. It’s a deliciously savory dish that will appeal to those who love bold flavors.
I also tried the fried tofu with minced meat, accompanied by Yau Mak (romaine lettuce). The tofu was crispy on the outside with a soft, flavorful interior, and the minced meat added a rich and savory note that paired beautifully with the fresh lettuce.
If you’re in the Genting area, Sin Kie is definitely worth a stop for its great food, quick service, and cozy ambiance. Highly...

Came to try their special Cantonese fried kuey teow (that's what the receipt wrote, but basically it's wat tan hor). I believe it's something worth ordering. The mihun for 双虾米 is a bit dry or hard to cut, but tastes well.
田七叶 is pretty good and juicy, 鲍汁炒饭 is just as stated with additional abalone sauce, both 干炒花肉 & 南乳炸大肠 nice and crispy, 福建豆腐 something special worth trying out.
All in all, everything came out pretty fast. Certain food taste great, some perhaps not their specialty but still good. Price is also OK. Friendly and attentive staff. Will come back to try other things...

To be very frank, it is above average but definitely not the best, and I prefer the wan tan hor next door (Chuen Kee). The hor fun was unevenly charred and slightly clumpy. However, what made the score gave the 1 star was the 'pak sou gong' fish ordered which I find the restaurant be unethical to over charge on the grammage. Given my past experiences of ordering steam fish of similar nature, I can tell what is the ave weight and size, and this restaurant definitely over charged me. This is my first and last time trying...
