2 people ordered 1 signature beef set and 1 ala carte MaPo Tofu. The signature set is okay but the MaPo Tofu is just... Bad.
Before reading on, just check the picture, you will notice it's more sausages than the main ingredient, which is the TOFU! With so few tofu I can't even get a mouthful, and in the end, I'm just munching on the overwhelming amount of sausages. Another thing is that MaPo Tofu should be using minced meat (which absorbs the flavor) and not sausage as a replacement. I know they name it MaPo Tofu with Sausage, you should use it as an ADDITION, not a replacement meat. Sausage is a processed meat with it's own strong taste which overwhelmed the actual MaPo gravy flavor, that is why my earlier compliant on only eating sausages.
Portion wise, it's a bit small for the price but with the inflation/"shrinkflation" going on, I have no comment.
Air condition is set at a very low temperature, it might be good during a hot day time but not necessary for dinner time. Our hot food arrived just lukewarm and in no time, my tofu gravy is now a gel like glue (because of corn starch). My glasses fogged up upon exiting, so it's definitely too cold inside.
The interior is nicely decorated but once you sat down, your ear will start to suffer. With all hard interior elements and no noice absorbing materials around, any kind of noice such as an umbrella dropping on the wooden floor sounded deafeningly loud! Imagine staying here for the whole lunch/dinner. Adding some sound absorbers such as curtains or decorations will easily solves...

I counted 7 of them standing at the counter making fun of each other instead paying attention to the customer. If this store is newly open and lacks workers, I understand because I visited the restaurant before when they were newly open.
Now this was my 2nd time. I found a Plastic inside my soup. Although they changed to a new pot for me, I still no longer feel safe to drink because they were surely cooking the soup in a big pot and the plastic was surely cooking along. I feel they don't care how serious it will take in the long term if people keep drinking the soup cooked along with plastic.
3rd, I found a tiny hair on the plate, I found out all the waitresses here are tied up in the hat but not neat 😂 why still want to leave a few pieces of your hair down when you are supposed to tied in? I guessed this can be explained in...

Edit: Finally made it here. Upgrade to 5 stars after trying the food. Whenever I see a Q I get my hopes up. Here had to Q 15 minutes and I was glad I waited
The unagi egg rice was superbly flavored with good portions. You must try this if you come here. Braised pork rice also had a good balanced taste. The egg and chicken floss is a unique take. Good for sharing but hard to finish if you are alone.
