It is a popular Japanese ramen restaurant for the locals here. It was full house when I visited on Saturday night. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful with sufficient lighting. There are different table sizes for big and small dining groups. The menu is quite extensive. I tried Ichiban Ramen. The cook managed to retain the natural ramen chewiness. The broth was savoury with slight hint of spiciness and not too salty. The prawn tempura was also good. The outer layer was crunchy & the prawn was soft to bite. Surprisingly, it was still crunchy after it cooled down. But the pan-fried dumplings were just average. The manager, Ms. Anne was friendly and attentive. But I hope the waiters will receive more training on how to explain the menu to their diners. I tried to ask the differences between 2 types of ramen but, all he commented was the differences in spiciness level. Perhaps, he was too busy due to short of manpower that night. Overall, it was a good experience & I will consider going back for another bowl of hot ramen or maybe try the dry...

Overall food was average. The Asari Gekikara was okay, had lots of clams, the spicyness was reduced to our liking. The taco sushi was moderate too... Only little salmon in it with a piece of cucumber and salad, the barter was too heavy. The only thing enjoyable most and satisfying were the takoyakis. Had 5 pieces. Very soft and nice. Sushis were okay. But very little variety compared to other shops probably cause their focus is on ramen. Mochi was nice, but served cold. Not sure why... Usually its served room temperature. Overall okay but food taste and presentation could be improved..
I’d give credits to staff’s attentiveness and Jess was friendly. Shop environment was clean and nice ambience. Waiting time was not too long, about 5-10 minutes. Price was reasonable. They do accept card payments, ewallet Touch and Go...
Read moreThe thing that surprised me most is that even though the shop is named Ramen, they have more non Ramen choices than Ramen. Which is a good thing. It's more a Japanese food joint than a pure Ramen joint.
I was generally ok with the food. The tempura prawn that came with the noodle and rice was nicely crunchy and hot. The flavour on my noodle mix was tasty but I didn't quite like the noodle. Strangely tasted rubbery.
The sushi and hana maki were enjoyable though. Even though I felt it was a bit salty, but tasty as a whole. I did enjoy the decor. Simple and relaxing. The staffs were also efficient and courteous. All in all, fairly...
