Let's talk about the price first: very affordable. As compared to other ramen shops, this shop definitely offers a cheaper and nice alternative. If you look at the menu, you will see that the shop doesn't offer too many fancy choices, but that's fine by me. Taste wise, the broth tastes nice, chicken + seafood + vege based broth (based on the description on the menu), lighter in taste as compared to the typical tonkotsu broth. The ramen, not bad as well. We ordered both kuro and shiro ramens as our main. The gyoza, tasty yes. However, to call it "the best in penang" is super exaggerated, and to say "worth the trip across the bridge", umm, that's overrated as well. As someone who stayed in Island for more than 7 years and tried numerous ramens on both sides, I would say it's decent but 100% not the best one out there (if we simply ignore the price difference). Incredible handmade ramen has bouncy texture ,chewiness and able to stand up to the rich flavors of their homemade recipe broth and char siu , definitely have to try their handmade gyoza ,thin and crispy dough with juicy filling, you’ll never disappointed!
