Up until recently we have enjoy coming to Choochoo Chicken for the food and services. Unfortunately, after the last visit to jisoo on Friday, the view has changed.
The issue started with the unfriendly steward who serve our table. She is not rude but just giving us a very poor services. As photo attached, you can easily see there is no crowd at the moment we were having Dinner. Sadly, everytime we need some help and having eye contact, trying to wave to them, they bow their head pretending not to see us. We have to go to the counter to ask for help, this is obviously not the services one would expect from a restaurant of your level.
What we need were juz simply a SPATULA to share Kimchi jiggae strew and a SAUCE, were rejected expressionless, as may scratch the wok. Well, you can give us a spoon but she didn't. After finishing our dinner, we again head up to the counter to ask for a to-go-box and to help us pack the leftovers. BUT!!!!! She juz walk away after giving us a container and left on our table without help. I was struggling alone to scoop all those soup and ingredients leftovers with spoon and fox on my own...🥄🍴 Seriously? Is that what you hope for when you go to a restaurant?????
I trust that this is not the type of comments you want to hear from your customers but I do wish you are going to deal these complaints precisely and do the necessary measures.
By the way, their soy sauce fried chicken and drinks were tasting great with reasonable price and big portion 👍🏻 army strew was way better than kimchi...
Read moreA must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Korean flavors. I tried several dishes, and every single one was delicious:
🍗The Buttermilk Boneless Tender was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside—perfectly cooked!
🍲The Kimchi Soup was rich, flavorful, and packed with ingredients. It’s a comforting dish that warms your soul.
🍛The Cheesy Dakgalbi with Seaweed Rice had the perfect balance of gooey cheese and savory chicken, paired beautifully with the seaweed rice.
🥚The Original Tteokbokki with Egg was the perfect mix of spicy and sweet, with a chewy texture I loved.
🌯The Wrap & Wedges with Spicy Yangnyeom chicken was a standout—the flavors were bold and unforgettable!
The ambiance was cozy, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place for a casual meal or to satisfy your Korean food cravings!
Will definitely be back...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon arriving, we were refused service without any clear explanation. When we finally managed to order, we found out that the payment machine only accepted cash, but this wasn’t communicated to us beforehand. It was frustrating to be caught off guard without any warning. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was dismissive and unhelpful. Overall, it felt like they didn’t care about providing a positive customer experience. I won’t...
