Hotel Istanaku — Hotel in Perak

My family and I had an absolutely delightful stay at Hotel Istanaku, Ipoh. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel right at home.

The rooms were impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. We especially appreciated the modern touches and the peaceful ambiance perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Ipoh.

Location-wise, the hotel is strategically situated near many of Ipoh’s top eateries, yet it’s tucked away enough to provide a quiet and relaxing retreat.

Special mention to the front desk team for their exceptional service and the housekeeping team for maintaining such high standards of cleanliness.

The hotel did not provide official receipts for payment. There is no dedicated parking. Hence you need to pay for the parking spot manage by the building management. No lift. All rooms either on 1st floor or 2nd floor. No fridge in the room. TV is available but can view YouTube only. I hope the hotel can improve their customer service.

Update: The owner reply saying there is no record of me staying there but please check the picture your have posted. It clearly show my car there. I stayed there on 17/6 till 19/6. I still have my Maybank receipt as prove. As for parking, no such info regarding the rate for parking. I have contacted your hotel few times and even leave my phone number so that you can contact me again regarding the receipt but till today, not one...

Stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean and comfortable, which I appreciated. However, there were a few issues that could be improved.

A kettle wasn’t provided in the room and had to be requested separately. Housekeeping is also not done automatically—you need to inform the staff if you want your room cleaned.

During the night, the premises were managed by foreign workers. Unfortunately, communication was a bit challenging, and the responses given were inconsistent.

I had specifically requested a room with a window during the booking, but this was not provided. When I raised the issue at the front desk, the only response I received was, "I don't know."
