The girl at the front office (wearing red t shirt in the photo that I posted) not suit to be the hotel frontliner. She refuse to let me & my family check in around 2pm, she tell me & my family to come at 3pm (I had to come again at 3.15pm), not only that but she answering questions with arrogant voice & moody face! Fyi, I already stayed at Seri Malaysia hotel branches around Malaysia & never been treat like that! And the weird thing, I asked few guests near my room & at the swimming pool, they said they had no problem check in before 3pm? WTH? I think this girl at the front office wanna "cari pasal" with me & my family. Friendly advise to this girl, "DON'T BITE THE HAND WHO FEED YOU". Without guests/customers, the company will "gulung tikar" & you will lose your job. You should be thankful that you still had a job, a lot of people out there out of job because the pandemic! One question to Seri Malaysia Management, why the hell you took this kind of arrogant, moody & unfriendly person to be your hotel frontliner? I will walk the talk about this unpleasant stay at Seri Malaysia Ipoh. From Ahmad and family (Room 111, Check in 1/1/22, Check out 2/1/22)
P/S.. I had to cancel plan to stay here for one more night & booked at Travelodge Hotel Ipoh (2 /1/22 - 3/1/22) THEY ALLOW US TO CHECK IN AT 2.15PM. The staff here very helpful &...
Read moreThe hotel located near the heart of Ipoh Town. Anyhow the surrounding area have more old residences and offices. There are big trees around. The hotel is open concept, where no fences. The parking lots can cater enough for all tenants and also guests for any events held inside the hotel. The staff counter is very nice and polite. Registering process is quite fast and we can suggest what type of room we prefer. There are no lift, so we have to walk up and down. The room is standard and much bigger than the room of other hotel in the same class. The facilities inside the room are standard with bed, table, chairs, cupboard. The toilets are also standard with sink, toilet bowl, shower hot and cold with enough soaps and shampoo. There are swimming pools especially for children. The restaurant prepared for breakfast and Ala carte order to be deliver into our rooms. The breakfast menu is sufficient including nasi lemak, rice porridge, kueh teow sup, bread, fruits, coffee and tea and also cold drinks. The security staffs are available around the hotel. The hotel room have...
Read moreThis is my 2nd time staying here. The expectation was meet. I didn't expect too much from a 3 star hotel. The check in process is quick. Welcome drink is available at lobby but you must help your self. Staff 'forget' to welcome you drink. 1st time was at standard room. Refrigerator not available. Only kettle is available. 2nd time was at family room. Refrigerator available as well as kettle. The building was old, outdated and dark. As well as furniture. Air conditioning looks well maintain because it cool. Lamp was dim. Some not functioning. Water heater and pressure a bit problem. Toilet is smelly. Bath area is small. No bath tub. Family room (2 king bed) meaning for 3 people, not 4 (because they gave you only 3 towels but you can ask extra towel FOC). Parking maybe not enough if the whole hotel is full book. Breakfast is ok, as per any hotels at Malaysia. Pleanty of choices from mee and nasi lemak to bread, fruit, cereal and podrige. Now the best part. I think (my personal opinion) the pool is very good in term of space and depth. I can give...
