Enduring Serenity in A relaxing setting of Bali

Location

The hotel is located few minutes away from Ipoh town but locating it is like you are trying to explore a hidden gem along a road where the Hotel is Isolated just so that you could enjoy your stay from all those busy traffics. In another word, it is strategic where I feel I would rather stay at this kind of surrounding for my leisure staycation.

Cleanliness

I would give 5 out of 5. Every bit and piece if the place have been well maintained that I hardly have anything to say about when comes to cleanliness. Kudos to the team for keeping up to the cleanliness from the moment of stepping into the hotel.

Room

Top-notch I would say. So detailed setting as their hotel name. I have never been to Bali but my wife did before and she goes on & on about every details of the Hotel starting from the Reception till we walk into our room. It is just so Bali is what she keeps mentioning and hearing it from my wife I wouldn’t want to challenge her.

We were able to secure the Superior Garden View Room which was worth every penny. With an amazing garden view + koi fish pond right beside the room, really gave us the feeling of serenity being there.

Sadly, check-out time is 11am. As much we are in denial to leave early but we just have to bid goodbye to the place.

Customer Service

The front desk staff was very attentive, professional, and friendly. Read so much of Ida and her PR but when you experience it you so just want to click the ‘like’ button for every comment on her. So humble and down to earth person for sure. Only from her we knew we got the room for a great discount due to some last-minute cancellation (we book the room like 2hrs before check-in at a non-peak rate + with Agoda discount).

Parking

Ample of parking in front on the hotel. As there were limited rooms, so don’t have to worry of not getting a place to park because there is huge space to park at least few cars in front the hotel and few at the sides (road less used by public so don’t worry about safety).

Food

As we were vegetarian, we were unable to taste the famous Nasi Lemak and Ayam Betutu. Nevertheless, they were able to cater for us a vegetarian breakfast which was fairly nice to keep us going till our lunch break. The coffee was amazing.

They wrongly added fired egg onto our Vegetarian dish which the lady who served us felt so sorry for the mistake and apologize few times. She was aware on vegetarian dishes as she claims she was surprise there was a remark of add egg in the list. So, when explained it was a miscommunication from the front desk end and she immediately did a new set of cooking instead of just removing the fried egg. Amazed with how much she really looks into customer satisfaction and sensitiveness. Thank you, Miss Chef (didn’t get the chance to ask her).

Overall

The team have really worked in ensuring that the entire hotel brings out the Balinese feeling from what have been explained by my wife also from my observation. Every corner has some awe moments felt looking. It is so worth the Insta Post for sure.

I would give them a 5-star rating for keeping up to their standard.

Just hope my next visit I will be able to enjoy the food and maybe stay much longer because 1 night is just unable to justify our stay. You just don’t want to leave the place that...

We are a family of three and recently enjoyed a highly pleasant stay at Bali Hotel Ipoh. From start to finish, our experience exceeded expectations, and I can't recommend this charming hotel enough.

Exceptional Service The hotel staff were incredibly polite and always greeted us with warm smiles. Their courteous demeanor made us feel truly welcomed, creating a friendly atmosphere throughout our stay.

Convenient Location Bali Hotel is conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from both the airport and the old town, making it an ideal base for exploring Ipoh. Its small size adds to its charm and intimacy.

Beautiful Ambiance The hotel features a lovely wooden structure with a beautifully decorated romantic Thai setting. Our spacious ground-floor room had direct access to a picturesque koi fish pond through a glass door. We even received a bag of fish food, which was a delightful activity for our family to enjoy together.

Delicious Breakfast Unlike typical hotel buffets, Bali Hotel offers a wide variety of customized breakfast options of superb quality. We pre-ordered our selections the night before, and they were delivered promptly each morning. It was a delicious way to start our day!

Impeccable Cleanliness The hotel maintains high standards of cleanliness both inside and outside the guest rooms. Throughout our stay, we observed the staff diligently performing cleaning duties, ensuring everything was spotless.

Thoughtful Assistance During our visit, we stayed in two different rooms. The staff kindly volunteered to help us move our luggage from one room to another while we were out for the day, making the transition seamless and stress-free.

Heartwarming Touches As an unexpected surprise for my birthday, the hotel decorated our room with inflated balloons and a complimentary chocolate birthday cake. This thoughtful gesture truly demonstrated how the staff treat their guests as valued individuals rather than just customers.

Peaceful Atmosphere Fortunately, we did not experience any noise issues during our four-day stay, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy our time at the hotel.

Conclusion Overall, our experience at Bali Hotel Ipoh was delightful and incredibly relaxing. I would rate it the highest standard in terms of cost and service quality. This is a hotel I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone seeking a charming and tranquil getaway. My sincere gratitude goes out to the hotel staff for making our stay so special. As someone who’s traveled to Bali, this Balinese-inspired hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. From the tastefully furnished decor to the traditional Balinese massages, my stay at Ipoh Bali Hotel was an absolute treat.

After a long flight from New York, I was headed to KL for a few days to visit some family friends. I decided to stop by Ipoh on the way and arrived at Ipoh Bali Hotel. I was warmly greeted by the staff and offered fresh welcoming drinks. I booked a superior double with a garden view for three nights. As soon as I walked inside my room, I was delighted by the beautiful arrangement on my bed. Everything was clean and all amenities such as toiletries, water, coffee were provided as well. For breakfast there is a variety of menu options such as western eggs Benedict, Balinese chicken porridge, and Balinese ayam betutu (absolutely delicious). On the second night of my stay I made an appointment at the spa and was pleasantly surprised by all the Balinese treatments offered. The mini waterfall and relaxing atmosphere made it feel like I was actually in Bali. I was informed that the masseuses were also from Bali as well. There are a variety of body massages, Balinese lulur, and facial treatments at reasonable prices. What I found special and unique was their “four hand massage”. I have never seen this type of massage and was intrigued, of course I had to try it out. This package includes a sea salt foot bath, Balinese body lulur, and flower bath. I was served hot ginger tea and relaxed my way into the Balinese oasis. The four hand massage is performed by two therapists and in full synchronization— truly unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. After the spa session I felt revitalized and had what felt like the best sleep ever. After checking out the next morning, I decided to take advantage of the private MPV car service offered by the hotel which offers an Ipoh day tour, Cameron Highland tour, and many more. We took a trip to Genting highlands and then explored Batu Caves afterwards. The driver was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Finally, we made our way to Kuala Lumpur and departed. Needless to say, this hotel has everything you need whether you are a tourist like me, or even native who wants to explore Ipoh.

If you are looking for a Balinese getaway for a reasonable price, I highly recommend a stay at...

Nestled in a housing area near Greentown, all the pictures of the hotel were very impressive and I really thought we would be very pleased at the hotel so I splurged on a suite for our family of four, which included an elderly member. The suite is the first room on the right after the reception area. It is super convenient to load and unload luggage but the layout of the room was less than pleasing nor ideal. There is a queen sized bed on the lower floor where there is the only sitting area and only bathroom. Up a steep flight of stairs is a King-sized bed on the loft and further up two or three awkwardly spaced steps there is an additional loft with a single bed. Going up and down the stairs requires extreme caution, whatever age you are. I do not recommend young children or elderly venture up there without supervision. The TV was wonderful but only 3 people can sit comfortably to watch it. You can definitely watch from the bed on the lower level though. All the bedding is thankfully, very comfortable. The AC works beautifully so you will not be hot. The bathroom is another place where the look overrode function. It was extremely tricky to get in and out of the tub where the shower was situated - there were no handlebars to assist. The big body wash/soap dispenser was empty and two tiny jars were set across from the showerhead for shampoo and body wash. The towels did not befit the quality you would expect from a beautiful place like this, toiletries were placed above the toilet in a precarious position and the hooks for clothes/towels were far from the tub. There were only 2 hangers for our use in the closet as well. Breakfast was passable and you have to pre-book your meal when you check in. We all had different items and none of us was impressed. All in all, I did not think it was value for money, but it wasn't the worst as I was happy with the bedding and how cold my room was. That said, all the hotel staff was friendly, and I must add that there was a water dispenser in the courtyard beyond the reception for our use. Be aware when you book the suite. I guess I saw the pictures but didn't pay close attention to how impractical the design of the whole suite was. This is the major reason I would not book this place for my family again.
