CAMPER 1991 — Restaurant in Perak

Watch out for the tantalising Seafood Tom Yum Pasta with its slender, silky spaghetti soaked in the utterly flavourful pool of appetising, creamy sauce. Definitely a must try especially if you love bold, intense flavours like me because this fantastic fusion dish was more than being plain spicy, it was passionately infused with aromatic herbs and spices.

Another flavoursome dish with a thicker, richer, creamier consistency was the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken. My first taste of its lusciousness was not with my mouth, neither was it my eyes but through my nose as I was engulfed by its pungent savouriness just as it was brought to me. Opted for the grilled version instead of the typical deep fried and it was still as delicious with its tender, moist flesh enhanced by the opulent salted egg sauce.

Savoury food isn’t just the highlight at Camper1991 as their scrumptious stack of soft, fluffy pancakes drizzled with maple syrup and topped with butter was a wonderful treat especially with the scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh berries by the side.

Have been here for more than four times due to their food is really good indeed. However, I was disappointed with my recent visit. My friends and I were there at around 8.30 p.m. and the waitress were cleaning up a table. When the time we wanted to take seat, the table was obviously not being cleaned thoroughly. Besides, we were told that the spaghetti had been sold out after making order through the QR. Your restaurant is famous with spaghetti and isn’t it we should be informed that spaghetti had been sold out in prior?To my surprise, my friend asked the waitress whether we could change spaghetti to macaroni by using the same ingredients, she told us that it couldn’t be done. The fries is quite soggy and ketchup/chili in sachet isn’t really enough for us to dip the fries. It would be better if you could provide bottled ketchup/chili instead of the sachet one. The honey lemon is bland like mineral water added with a slice of lemon only. Other than that, I am not sure whether it is almost their closing time, one of the waitress shows slightly...

Fusion cafe in Greentown, overall not bad~

Tom Yam Seafood Risotto (Signature) 🌟 - Thai-style seafood risotto, very creamy, with plenty of seafood, tastes great but just a bit salty for me. Their portion is huge, would recommend sharing~

Vongole Pasta 🌟🌟 - a soupy pasta with cherry tomatoes, tangy and spicy, quite unique, light yet not greasy❤️

Yuzu Shake Tea 🌟🌟 - good and refreshing

Salted Egg Chicken Chop Rice 🌟 - the salted egg sauce is thick, chicken is thinner than expected but the taste was decent

Red Bean Ice Blend - not the ideal one I expected, would be better if there’s more red bean for stronger taste.

Overall, Their portions are large with reasonable price! Personally suggest two portions for three! They do offer lunch set with a free lemon...
