The bold and fresh flavours embodied in every Thai dish never fails to tantalise my tastebuds. It’s certainly a cuisine which thoughtfully infuses and dexterously balances the distinctive personalities of spicy, salty, sweet and sour. With an eclectic variety of meats prepared in a million ways like noodles, soups, curries, stir fry, salads and more, I’m always having a tough time tossing between my options. You really can’t go wrong with anything you pick, except for the acute spiciness sometimes if you’ve got a pretty low tolerance for chilli like me. And that was my experience with Baan Thai GreenTown unexpectedly flaming dishes that got me sweating in no time. The steamed Barramundi was real fresh and refreshing with the lime sauce while the Tamarind prawn curry was invitingly fragrant. My favourite vegetable at Thai restaurants is always the water spinach cooked with a pungent shrimp paste (aka “belacan”). It’s meant to be spicy but this was unexpectedly...

Might as well spend your money elsewhere (Black Canyon, Boat Noodle, or that Malay Thai restaurant near Tesco Extra Bercham which I can't remember the name)

The staff here are not well trained and do not seem very friendly. (Great to learn from Black Canyon staff, they have received proper training) Food is overpriced for the quality (or lack of it) and portion size. You can fool others but you've certainly not fooled me. Anyone who has been to Thailand as much as I have or tasted real Thai food will most definitely know the real deal...

The food portions are standard, and overall, the dishes were flavourful. The Pineapple Fried Rice tasted good, but it was a little out of my expectation as pineapple cubes or slices were hardly visible. The Claypot Glass Noodles came with huge prawns, though they weren’t very fresh, but the portion and flavour were satisfying.
Tried the Giant Longan Party, which was refreshing, though the price is on the higher side.
Service was good and attentive, and I’d love to see them offer more meatless or vegetarian options in the future, so everyone — including non-meat eaters — can enjoy a...
