Walked in today for brunch. I was the first customer and the staff are still working on something when I entered. I asked if they have started selling, and two of the staff - a Chinese middle aged lady and a bulky rough looking guy - at the door just glared at me. The glaring continues for 10-15s as they stayed quiet. No greetings, no smiles, no words. They behaved like I have stolen from the shop. Just an awful experience. The owner rushed out and tried to salvage, but the staff in this shop have no interest at all to serve. Pretty decent chicken rice here, worth the price, and they offer ayam tauge/beansprout chicken rice bundle along with assorted drink choice. Also, the packaging for takeaway is well-made, so there is no need to worry if food will be messy during delivery. Maybe the only problem here is not many staff members are fluent in English, but it's not a big deal. All staff are friendly and helpful. Also, I was surprised that despite the lack of new reviews, the last time I came there, the seat was full that some ppl had to queue beforehand. Maybe a reservation is necessary...

Service could be improved. Since we had to share a table, the staff placed dishes in the middle, which caused confusion — we couldn’t tell if the food was ours or the other table’s. Crowded during mealtime, had to queue and share a table. Air-conditioned but still quite stuffy. Food took a bit longer since they debone the chicken. Chicken was tender but the soy sauce was a bit too salty. Fragrant rice and tasty pork meatballs. Ordered chicken offal, but it was mostly liver with only a few gizzards. Overall still a good...
