In the morning, 385F provides a warm & cosy space in the morning with its modern minimalist interior.
A rather new-kid-on-the-block in this upscale area of Bukit Damansara or fondly known as Damansara Heights which boasts some of the most expensive properties in Klang Valley. I spent a good 2 hours in this cafe one Saturday morning doing the paperwork while waiting for the kids to finish their classes.
◾Mushroom cheese sandwich - a rather generous amount of aromatic stir-fried mushrooms & melted cheese. Paired well with the flat white. ◾black coffee which was my choice of caffeine. ◾apple, cucumber & spinach juice proved to be a good detox drink for me, as I was out for heavy drinking the night before.
The ambience in the morning was what I looked for in a cafe - quiet, calm and relaxing. I can say with good coffee - at least the ones that I had - and good food made them a mainstay in the saturated cafe scene. Expect fusion food...

Food review: Chilli beef con carne: the star of the show from our order! The sauce was very flavourful and peppery, paired with the crispy and chewy garlic bread, was heavenly! 5/5
Grilled chicken with honey mustard: a close second with succulent chicken and a good balance of veggies and the sweet tangy sauce 5/5
Cheesy mined beef macaroni: good cheese top with a nice sauce in combination with the pasta, probably good for kids too! 4.5/5
Creamy chicken butter (rice): very nice sauce with a good amount of chicken! Only critique is that there could've been more sauce for the rice. 4/5
Fries: quite average, but good crisp. Just a little tad dry. 3/5

The latte was perfect, coffee strong and hot. The eggs on sourdough, superb. Served with kaya and sambal, the eggs and toast may seem a little weird at first glance. However, all combined, the result is divine. Sambal - sangat sedap - wasn’t too hot nor was it sweet, the kaya tasted homemade - neither too sweet nor bland. Eggs were perfectly cooked with runny yolk.
The only complaint I have is the music. I would rather sit in the quiet, not getting irritated by the buffering of the music - sometimes loud sometimes choppy (listen to the sound as captured by the videos).
Final verdict - good place for breakfast....
