Restoran Kapitan — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Was here for some errant and was looking high rated restaurant to dine in and found this. Was having a high hope but turn out to be above average. For a person like me who have been traveling entire Klang Valley eating chicken rice for years I'm daring to say this chicken rice is just nice only.

Ordered a chicken rice set A. The portion is small with mild lack of tenderness for certain part of the drumstick and the sauce that comes with doesn't match well. The bean sprout is good and the wanton is nice. Soya drink is a bit overly sweet with lacking taste of soy bean.

For RM13.50 I shouldn't have complained as this pricing surely is extremely affordable in a shopping centre. But if the taste/portion can be better I wouldn't mind...

Recommended by Google map to try chicken rice here. Ordered set A included drink, upgraded drink to coffee by adding 50 sen. Total is 13.50, chicken rice with bean sprouts, wanton soup and iced coffee .

First of all, food is really so so, chicken part given was breast, and the breast is too soft and muddy just like eating raw dough. The wanton is tasteless since just some tiny minced chicken and carrot. The bean sprout is the best but the sauce is very salty. The coffee is tasteless.
