The store was mostly empty. Rather pricely and has additional tax on August not sure why the waitress said got GST and service charges. Even the plain rice per person is more expensive than a normal mamak restaurant. Ordered pandan chicken, fried prawn was pricely (7 small pieces cost RM30), tofu tasted bad (the mushroom in it were pungent and there were under cooked chicken bits which tasted rotten), mixed vege order medium size tasted ok but does not look appetising and worth the price portion is small and veges not fresh. The dessert glutinous rice and mango were terrible. Usually a Thai place is well known for it's desserts. But the portion of glutinous rice is less than bowl or even in normal places, has loads of colouring and santan and the mango is half ripe thus can taste the tartness. The environment is pretty hot and there were flies around. None of the staff smile or appear to care much about the customer. They exist just to do the job. Overall, not a pleasant experience for the family and food were below average. For the same amount of price paid, eating at other restaurants or even food...
Read morePoor quality food for cheap to normal prices, and I would not dare to recommend the drinks either. The photos on the front of the restaurant look good, for sure, but they're nothing like what you get. Most of their veggies and chicken especially are FRIED, which I believe allow them to not have to prepare and work it too much - plenty of fat, tiny dangerous bones and other parts you wouldn't want in both your main dishes and tell free chicken soup they let you serve to yourself. Their "free dessert", also, isn't half recomendable: 3 small squares of VERY SUGARY Jell-O type green jelly. I think that says it all. Oh, also, they didn't serve me my White Coffee cuz they said they were out as plenty of them were being served around us. Frustrating experience, glad...
Read moreI’ve been meaning to try this Thai restaurant, but unfortunately, it wasn’t as authentic as I had hoped. While the food was tasty, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me.
The rice, for instance, was a bit of a let-down. It felt like it might have been leftover rice, as it was quite sticky and clumped together.
They have a wide variety of dishes to choose from, but most of them come in three sizes: small, medium, and large. I was surprised to find that even the small portion was pretty substantial, and it was a bit pricey at around 11 MYR.
Overall, while it’s not a bad place to eat, it might not be the most authentic Thai experience. If you're curious about Thai food, I'd recommend giving it a try and seeing...
