Came for dinner on a Sunday, not many people. Ordering is not easy as only QR code. Came because they advertised a special offer on their chicken rice set but found this wasn't on the QR menu and not well publicized, only after asking the staff did they acknowledge they have to be informed if want to have the cheaper set.
For a chicken rice specialty shop, they ran out of steamed chicken and only had the roasted one. Similarly when asked for chopped ginger condiment, the staff also mentioned they ran out. The chili was good tough and nice and spicy. Think perhaps the shop should better manage their estimation of ingredients to ensure they offer choice of chicken.
Meal was ok, the chicken rice was so so, the buttermilk chicken was nice and flavourful, the wonton soup was very bland as if no salt at all, the curry laksa was watered down, didn't have any lemak or salt again, also not much spice taste and very little ingredient for that authentic laksa oomph.
The worst was the service, the poor staff were like running here and there trying to meet everyone's demand, can hear the next door table also complaining how come menu items also not available and not the first time. One waiter when asked about things also seems couldn't understand what we wanted.
Waiting time is long for these type of food, had to wait at least half an hour, despite the low crowd. In the end my laksa was actually forgotten and it only came after 45 minutes, and that after asking once about a missing order which was not taken into account and then only after a second time then a waitress came and informed they will prepare it within 5 minutes. I believe the management need to relook at their staff training and how they manage the service to improve as there is a lot lacking.
Am sorry to say despite all the hype won't be coming back unless they improve on the menu and staff. Frankly a little disappointed as we drove all the way in the rain to...

I saw a lot of good review online and finally I give it a try. It’s on Saturday afternoon, not really crowded, once we step into the premise, we felt that inside is so stuffy and hot, we requested staffs to adjust the air cond, but they only adjusted the ceiling fan speed, half way through my meal, I felt really bad, I also notice the kitchen is not properly separated from the seating area, hence the smell and heat and steam are mixed together and made the environment so bad. May be it’s my personal feeling, we really need a good ventilated and cool area. Food wise, we order 2 steam chicken set and Honey BBQ chicken rice, for me it’s taste like chicken rice shop, however I believe the chicken is genuinely from beacon farm. Another point to note is once the customer left, the staffs will not clean the table immediately, they would left there for long time (the staffs are just standing there, they are not busy but just stand there and not cleaning up the table),
Cleaningness: even they clean the table they left a lot of breadcrumbs on the table, also they passed us kid set, and we notice there are spring onion left on the kid plate, not 1 but few! So we rejected and continue use the ceramic one. After that we throughly clean the utensils ourselves before we start our meal.
I really hope the management look seriously into these problems! We are actually consuming beacon chicken for long time, but this restaurant is truly disappointed! TRULY DISSAPOINTED. AND I WOULD NOT RETURN TO THIS RESTAURANT IN...
Read moreUpdate: Looks like a little lacking in sincerity too. I messaged and even called the number of the person-in-charge as indicated in the reply by Beacon Chicken Delights. No reply and my call was even declined! This is my second time at Beacon's Chicken Delight. My earlier dine-in experience was quite good. Today was a take-out and I would have given a higher rating if not for the following: There were a number of menu items not available today including nasi kerabu, nasi ulam and nasi dagang. It still took the kitchen staff quite a while to fulfil my order even though it was hardly a busy time when I was there (Sunday late morning and there were only maybe 2 tables (2 pax each) dining at the time). The kitchen staff piled a whole lot of fried onions onto my bean sprouts and romaine lettuce side orders. I had to sweep aside some of the fried onions in order to show the lettuce underneath in my pic. There was simply too much of it! And I believe this fried onion is the pre-packed type bought off the shelf. In my opinion, not the healthiest stuff and so much of it got tossed into otherwise a healthy vegetable side dish.
But having said the above, the Hainanese steam chicken and Roasted chicken itself is quite...
