TLDR: In the beginning, the mysterious and mildly lit stairwell worked in the favour of the Cafe. However, upon complete experience of the food, service and ambience, the now demystified stairwell screams creepy and dull.

The decent: The dim lights made it relaxing for a late lunch or weekend brunch.

The poor: The hard surfaces in the Cafe acted as an endless loop of sound mirrors. With nowhere to run, all sounds started to devolve into noise, laughter turned into shrieks and none could hold a chatter without feeling annoyed.

The terrible: The smoked duck carbonara had unknown chunks in them (seems to be eggs) and the saltiness brought me to the Red Sea and back. This might be the worst variant of carbonara I've tried over the years, even compared to my own.

The chicken, though fully cooked, offered nothing for taste. The accompanying fries were similarly salted. I'm starting to think Bimba might be a front for a salt mining operations.

The matcha latte was more like a milk. Yes you heard it right, just milk. And the peach tea was average.

I marked this Cafe as a saved place for months due to its ratings and pet friendliness and when I dropped by, boy was I just completely disappointed.

Try, don't try... Don't say you haven't...

Bimba Shakshouka 🍳⭐️ (RM19.90) A bowl of cheesy, eggy goodness served with 4 pcs of tortillas. The amount of cheese pull was insane so better to eat while still hot!

Sambal Bak Kua Pasta 🌶️ ⭐️ (RM21.90) MUST TRY!! The dish itself is super flavourful along with the sweetness of thick bak kua. Sambal was really prominent which lingered around my mouth from the start till the end 😋

Smoked Duck Carbonara 🦆 (RM23.90) Wanted to opt for the curry mutton pasta but sadly it's unavailable so we opt for this instead 🥲 Duck had a good texture - fat and meat ratio was well balanced, but pasta was quite salty so consider giving this a pass.

Taro Yam Mille Crepe 🍠 (RM16.90) I'm a fan of taro so I liked this which is not cloying! Wished the taro flavour could be more tangible.

Iced Bimba Kopi Kaw Kaw ☕️⭐️ (RM6.50) Can't go wrong with a glass of local coffee! Really "kaw" like the name implies 🤤

Avocado Shake 🥑 (RM19) Not bad, avocado was fragrant but personally I am not used to have a combination of avocado + chocolate 😩

Although it's a great place to hang out with friends and pets 🐱🐶 the food here have both hits and misses. Kudos to the young female staff who served us; so bubbly and friendly 🤗 For the pork-free option, head to Bimba...

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend and it was amazing. I loved the food. I ordered the mutton curry with rice while my boyfriend ordered mutton curry nasi lemak. If you do not like the taste of mutton then this might not be for you but we love it! Both of us enjoyed the food and cleaned the plate. We ordered the 1st anniversary celebration option and the food came with drinks and you can choose between coffees, teas, iced chocolate or sodas.

The bimba nachos was very filling and when eaten hot has a really good melted cheese topping and the tomato base sauce and jalapeno toppings complement the food well.

They also have a promotion on Thursdays where you can get a choice of beer for free with minimum spend of RM35.

Overall, we enjoyed the food! The owners are very friendly and the place has a very cosy ambience making it perfect for you to chill and spend time with your...
