We decided to give this place a try since it was a new place in the neighbourhood. Their menu is fairly simple and straightforward. We had the Kerala Mini Meals and added on a Kanava Pepper Roast. 1. Taste The mini tiffin taste was superb. I have personally not eaten kerala food before but the taste of the veges and the sambar was superb. The kanava roast was dissapointing. It was sour and had too much kootu and little kanava. The kanava was sliced too thinly and cooked and tasted rubbery. Some may like this taste but we didnt. 2. Portion size. The mini meal was dissapointing with their portion. There were 3 types of vege provided and it was less than a tablespoon serving size each. The rice was faily little. Overall the portion was too little akin to having less than a diet meal. This was dissapointing and we had to walk over to Seenu's next door to fuel our hunger further. 3. Price Personally overpriced. RM40 for one person meal and meat is not worth it. Especially given the meal portion and the taste of the meat. Despite the price and portion issues (thus the 2 star) the kerala mini meal taste was great.

Went for breakfast this morning with my dad to Chacko, had no idea they had just opened in my neighbourhood, firstly when we entered I loved the ambience . Staff were also friendly and accommodating. The owner of the restaurant was also very kind and chatty. My dad and I enjoyed the Thattu Dosa very much was super soft and fluffy and the sambar and chutney that came with it was delicious and felt very home made . It’s a must try !!! We also had the Kerala Parotta with Kadala curry and the parotta was very delicious , flaky on the outside and so soft inside and not too oily , I’m not a big fan of chickpeas but order it to get in some protein. The last thing we tried was the puttu which was also very fine and tasted nice. I had an iced bru coffee which wasn’t on the menu but they made it and I enjoyed it very much . My dad had a hot bru coffee and enjoyed it as much as I did . We were vegetarian today and we both enjoyed our breakfast . I look forward to coming back and try their non vegetarian menu . It’s nice to have a place like this around the corner from home ! ❤️🧡💛🌈

Had the pleasure of enjoying some delicious Kerala food after a long time, and it truly hit the spot. The flavors were authentic, the food was well-prepared, and the staff and people at the place were genuinely friendly and welcoming. It’s a cozy spot that brings a touch of home-cooked comfort. However, there are two things that could be improved. First, due to the enclosed glass setup and limited space, conversations from nearby tables echo quite loudly, which affects the overall dining experience, especially during busy hours. Second, the price of the lemon soda (RM13) seemed a bit steep considering it’s just salt, lemon, and F&N soda. It would be great if the pricing could be reviewed for such simple items to make it more reasonable for customers. Overall, it was a satisfying visit and I’d definitely come again—just sharing a little feedback that might help enhance the experience even more.

I went to this freshly launched Kerala restaurant in the neighbourhood. I absolutely loved it. The ambiance was wonderful, and everything appeared very classy and expensive. I had ordered kerala mini meals and fried Kerala taw fish on the side and added on the parotta with chicken curry. To be honest, I was very skeptical of this restaurant because I have tried at many Kerala restaurants and I did not enjoy the food as much as I did in Kerala itself. It was mostly too basic and most scenarios I was paying for the brand and not the taste and quality of the food but this place really have become my go to Kerala restaurant. I can really tell that they use high quality to prep the meals coz it tastes so fresh, especially the fish fry. it could seem like an exaggeration but the first bite was so heavenly, the spices was just right, wasn't overpowering the freshness of the fish. it really blended well with each other. The parotta on different hand was so soft and perfect just like how they show in the movies. The chicken curry really compliments the parotta. It is just the perfect size and the thickness and most importantly it wasn't oily. Overall, I was happy with the food and the price, although it's slightly pricey, it is so worth it. Id rather spend on healthy and tasty food than on basic food that I regret paying that much for. Kudos to the owner for actually selling really quality and delicious food and also for having Kerala cooks. Trust me it makes a big difference on the taste. will...
