Reviewing Megah rise mall newly opened branch. Honestly excited about this spacious cafe for furkids to runaround, but I do see certain shortcomings that were brought over from Sri petaling branch.
No proper blockage. Retail side is directly accessible (no door) to mall, even the hacked down wall between retail and cafe side is not properly blocked. Only a few boxes which could be bypassed by smaller dogs sneaking out or jumping over. Two months since I first visit door is still not ready. I do not feel safe or at ease, even if i leash my dog, this defeats the purpose of coming to a spacious cafe.
The private event area not marked properly when there’s private event. Thought this area would be a fun place for furkids but last few times I went it’s either under reno or being taken for private event which is a shame as this is one of the main attraction of this cafe. Besides, also same issue, not blocked properly. Entrance to private event space is directly next to main door, furkids could run out. This side consider less worrying than the retail side. If pet fence could be set up for both entrances it would be even better.
Food wise feel like not ready yet. Price is cafe price so u pay more for what u get. Menu is limited, dessert is meh. Drinks is ok, can try. Overall feels like this place was rushing to open and there is still a lot of room for...
Read moreHands down my favourite indoor / air conditioned space in Malaysia to bring my furbaby! The rise of pet friendly spaces are great and we’re constantly exploring but this is where my Maltese boy is happiest. It’s extremely spacious (definitely the largest enclosed pet cafe I’ve experienced in the country) and can easily handle large breeds like Malamutes and Golden Retrievers running around. Diapers are compulsory but also sold on premises for only RM3.
The dog menu is extensive (the meatballs are amazing) and the human food while quite niche in selection, is tasty and very well priced. I don’t often have my meals here so the dessert and drink selection is my go to - lots of fresh fruity refreshing drinks and the best fudgy brownies!
Crowds can get a bit hectic on weekends, so I usually plan fur-friend play dates and social meet-ups here on the weekdays, where I really get to appreciate the space and service. The staff are very communicative and have always assisted whenever we needed something. We come here at least twice a week now, and it’s without a doubt my dog’s happy place. 10/10 would recommend giving it a try with or without your furry friend, just be patient if you’re here at peak hours and enjoy watching the little furfriends...
Read moreFurfriendly cafe and pet grocers (adjacent shop) located inside the newly opened mall with special pet friendly lift just corner next to cafe entrace.
Cozy and relaxing even for guest that patron without fur friend due to spacious dining room. For solo/couples seating is good by the window view along the entrance towards cashier bar counter.
I'm thankful that my first visit was not disappointing as per few unhappy reviews about food and service. We were served by polite staff during ordering and serving time. Coffee (latte and fluffy local coffee) both tasted good. Food was also well prepared in terms of freshness, portion and taste. But do agreed that menu is not updated or as shown in GM. The only concern is still the hygiene eating together with furrrfriends. U will still see some tiny furs here and there or table top, so it's up to one's level of acceptance. Personally rate it fair pricing for the setting and venue where it placed.
Overall its a great place to hangout with family...
