DÔME (IPC) — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Was dining in and before we ordered we told the staff that we have a RM50 voucher(1pizza+1pasta) and she told us RM50 service charge is not included yet and we said OK…and when we were paying they double charge us for service charge and when we ask why, the staff said “cause you dined in ,if takeaway then no service charge” and after JUST A FEW SECONDS! She say “but this voucher cannot use for takeaway”….so? Can u make up your mind?? And why do u guys double charge us? It’s not fair….and when we ask why, u tell us to ask IPC?????

Other than this ridiculous voucher issue, they have a CIMB discount where if u spend RM50 then u can claim a free drink, and when we ordered they said “OK can, your limit is met” cause we ordered other food as well THEN after few minutes the staff came to tell us “u can’t use this CIMB promo cause we already key in to system and cannot remove/change…” DOME, CAN U PLEASE TRAIN YOUR STAFF PROPERLY??What kind of excuse is this? “Cause we already key in your order so u cannot use this...

Came here for coffee and cake. Simple enough right? Cannot screw it up right? Well, Dome still found a way.

Tiramisu cake is horrendous. 100% not fresh. Cream on the top of the cake already hardened. They dont use enough coffee also. Plus, the slice given was thinner than a Victoria Secret model. Also, the nuts used in the cake are no longer crunchy, they are weird not soft but not crunchy? Not fresh, to put it simply. Considering it was RM 18, DO NOT BOTHER.

Macadamia latte was like macadamia flavoured coffee. Its like they use 3 times more milk than they should. Ratio of coffee to milk is completely off.

Biscoti that came with the coffees were hard as rocks. Even after you soak them into your coffee, its like hard cardboard.

Only saving grace was the long black which is up to the standard of the Dome name and the price they charge.

Honestly, just go to Gigi or any other place for coffee. Ikea cake and coffee is better and cheaper. Why...

1. The guy, Philippine start name with T , As i enter the Dome until he deliver the food on my table, even he stand nearby payment counter to wait coffee is ready, he always scratch the head its so Disgusted. Not hygiene at all, I didn’t see he wash his hand after that, and keep scratching.

2. Cimb card free coffee. The creamy seafood cabonara is not creamy but watery & Hot latte sent with no foam neither art, like dome the curve. Online order said will get free coffee if using cimb, After make a payment, Rm57.. This same guy said need to above Rm65, “ did he think we 1st time go to dome?when i go pavi, i get free coffee.” Its actually above 50 sir. That coffee not the issue at all, But how you talk to customer, is so arrogant. Before customer order, you should tell the customer and be friendly, about your promotion and product. BUT U ONLY BE FRIENDLY WITH A GUY ONLY.

And please don’t scratch your head or dandruff in front of customers...
