Went there yesterday night with my two kids, ordered few dishes and t hey were good. However the pineapple fried rice with prawns had NO prawns and when I pointed that out to the stuff so they can bring me the prawns. They didn't but said they would charge less (ended up paying RM 16.75 instead of RM 21.75). Stuff was really bad at serving I had to ASK for plates, kids plates and cutlery and the chilli tray several times before I got them. I also asked for a glass of water and the waiter looked at me not happy and actually wanted to talk to me from few meters away, not really happy to come to the table! The two tables next to me also had issues with their dishes not being as they should have been and waiting stuff returned them to the kitchen, again not happy about it. Overall pricey, food is good but clearly something not right in the kitchen and waiting stuff really not good. There was only one kind and smiling girl (with glasses) in the entire restaurant. Definitely not my best night out in KL, don't think I...
Read moreIt’s been awhile since my last dinner here, I think it was before the pandemic. And I think this is for sure my very last meal here ever. Don’t worry, tomyam is everywhere in KL. But absolute Thai? My single portion Tomyam is price at RM16+ but what I got is a very small mangkuk that just barely fit my fist. The chicken slice is like 3-4 only. I don’t mind if it’s very small mangkuk you give me, but for RM16? Are you stu/pid or what?
But hve to give credit, nasi goreng pineapple is still sedap. Only the Tomyam you need to revise back the portion or the price, it’s a Thai f-restaurant kot, of course Tomyam is the main course. Very stu/pid decision from the management.
Just a friendly reminder, if you want to find a good tomyam for your dinner, better start your engine, and drive to Sungai Buloh about 10mins, and you’ll find a heaven selection of great tomyam at an affordable price. I’m so done with...
Read morePopular Thai franchise that have been in business for a long time. Trying them out after quite some time didn’t have it. Ordered tomyum, fried chicken wing, salted fish kailan and watermelon juice.
Tomyum taste are still as what I remembered. Perfectly sour and spicy taste which sour at first then spicy coke later. Potion are good for a bowl with fresh ingredients.
Fried chicken wing are excellent. Does have the Thai style where they fried it till crisp and savoury taste.
Salted fish kailan are ok. Only complaint is the amount of salted fish are relatively small. The watermelon juice are the lowlight of the day. Taste very watery.
Overall the food are good. Be it for single plate or order for sharing I have tried maybe around 50% of the menu which most of it I like. Definitely recommended and will return for more. Price are a bit steep but still reasonable for...
